How to Beat Every Trap in Saw 3

- In Saw III Amanda sets up multiple traps for Jeff, a father of two who lost his son to a drunk driver. In his trial Jeff meets some of the people responsible for his son's death as well as the people who let the driver off very easily. Jeff gets to decide if he can revenge on the people who have done him wrong or if he wants to forgive them.
Couple of notes (because you guys pick up on my mistakes very fast):
- Eric Matthews wasn't killed by Amanda, he appears again in Saw 4. There it's revealed that Amanda only knocked him unconscious and put him in a new trap. (But that doesn't change Amanda's intentions)
- The pipes in the meat locker weren't hot (that wouldn't even make sense), they're cooling pipes. When Jeff puts his cheek against it, his skin sticks to it.

They should make a Saw movie where the person being trapped is an engineer and perfectly disables every trap. Each time they do it they get knocked out and the mastermind tries again and gets increasingly angry each time and in the end just gives up
OH SHIT XDDD would watch it just to see pissed jigsaw
That's why Jigsaw (EDIT: John Kramer) himself is portrayed as a proficient carpenter/engineer especially when you get to Saws V & VI (and Jigsaw) and you see him in flashbacks
PS that portrayal of him as a carpenter/engineer plus the fact he personally didn't have a limp... those two tiny details contributed to some fans correctly theorising that the figure at the beginning of Saw II sewing the key in the eye is NOT Kramer because he's not a surgeon.
id genuinly go see that in theaters
Lockpickinglawyer would do it in 0.03 seconds

What's always irritated me about the first trap is how clear it was that Troy wanted to survive, he ripped off almost every hook and endured all of it despite it being totally futile. His very last moments were fighting for his life with every fiber of his being and getting killed for it anyways. Forcing people to appreciate their lives was always a constant theme for Jigsaw and Amanda bastardized that concept immediately through her very first trap.
I'd be getting behind the table or some shit either that or smashing that nail box.

Chemist here. About the acid. This isn´t nitric acid. Nitric acid doesn´t dissolve metal in seconds and doesn´t dissolve your flesh as easily as shown. It is probably aqua regis, a mixture of nitric acid and hydrochloric acid. This mixture is way stronger and really dissolves metal and flesh pretty easily. Also it has this yellow colour too. If you get a drop of nitric acid onto your hand it just gets a bit yellow and itches. If you get aqua regis on your hand you have a hole in it.
So the fourth hole
If it was aqua regis, wouldn't the key be long gone too?
@@wessltov Ig it depends on what metal the key is made of, ik aqua regis can melt gold.. but not too sure of platinum

Giavonnie nah I just don’t really want to watch saw
it is really hard to not panic in a life or death scenario. that is the reality.
@Nghtly 2 You don't speak for every individual. Being able to control whether or not you panic in such a situation is certainly doable. And beyond that, is necessary. Its called discipline and sustaining mental acuity on the premise, that you will in fact die, if you do not think accordingly and without panic. The bottom line is, you panic, you die. Panic is natural, is typical, but is not irrefutable. Period. You can circumvent around panic, you can learn to think calmly, and you can live as a result of thinking decisively.

For anyone confused about the pipes, a burn is caused by an extreme transfer of energy between your skin and an object. This can be a really hot object on your relatively cool skin, OR as is the case in this movie, an extremely cold object on your relatively warm skin!
One thing that nobody seems to notice is Jeff couldn't have saved Timothy with the key. There wasn't a lock on the Rack to place the key, so Tim would've died either way. Hoffman is even seen tampering the Rack in Saw 6 saying they both want to see him suffer. Jeff would've actually needed one of your methods to beat the Rack if he wanted to save Timothy.
Allison's death felt like such a huge waste of a great character. She's been following Jigsaw since the first film and was potentially on the verge of discovering Amanda's involvement with Saw II's trap. Her death seemed so unfair as one of the only characters with an actual moral compass. I would have loved to see her become a main rival to Jigsaw and his crew's schemes. Honestly, screw Amanda
Yes! She seemed to be one of the few people who would actually escape no matter what situation she would be in & then they kill her off with a rigged trap. I’d rather her had win the trap & quit the force if they were going to do away with her character
@@breonawarren1507 Unfortunately, the main thing every Saw movie is going for to entertain its audience after the first one is to show off its traps and special effects. If she escaped and the audience didnt get to see the trap rip her apart, they would have considered it a waste of a trap.

The exam paper is behind you. you need to reach a key and drop the paper.but theres acid below the paper meaning if you drop it in the acid.its counted as destroying your exam paper. So you didn't do it. you can't turn to behind you, meaning you have to try to reach with your hands. now,if you got the paper. Reach for your pen on top of your mask. But if you moved the gears around the pen on your mask,it will twist your head until it cut off. if you got the pen. Write your name. ____________ now write down the date __/__/____ now you're going to use a code on the back of the paper to give a hint for your answer. (For example, the answer is HIDE the back will say the number of lines the letter used for example 3=H 1=I 1=D 4=E) now if you answered all the question wrong. I will twist your head remotely if you get it right, i will put the acid in front of you remotely so you can use the acid to burn all the metal on your body and your head keeping you stuck. Now you will have to guess the key to the door. There's a hint below the table. All the box that have a key inside have numbers below it, and below the table you have a paper saying ON(Now this uses lines again so O=0 lines and then N=3 lines)so its the third box, if you found the right key. Congratulations you escaped the room. Oh yeah and if you stayed in the room there's a toxic gas that will be set inside after 1 hour.

You better run!

“I was gonna save you, but I changed my mind and now I’m gonna hel- oh shit I ran out of time.”
Thanks, I’m often finding myself in similar situations detailed in these films
Great video. Really great job. This took certainly hours and hours of profund analyzing
I would just walk out of the trap I’m built different.
Yes. Yes you are👿👿👿

Im cute tho, built good
Question, Can you Seduce Jigsaw? Like hypothetically of course

I poured the milk before the cereal, I'm next..
You good?
*Pours chloroform on a rag* I’ll do it for him.
*You wake in a glass container, tied upside down* hello... dude. I dunno, I didn’t check your wallet. The point is, I want to play a game. I’ve seen your sins, and your actions are unforgivable. But I’ll give you a chance. After I stop talking, crates filled with vials containing a slow release toxin will drop, just like how cereal was meant to be eaten. After 5 crates drop, I’ll pour 3 gallons of milk into the vat, and after that, the container will dangerously spin, breaking the vials and suffocating you in milk. To escape, you must confess to your sins and drink two gallons of milk. Live or die. Make your choice.
@@docrofreborn7497 Damn that’s oddly specific. I need to confirm that the creator of the comment survived or died.
@@Chris-hi1hf I can’t confirm nor deny, I left the room once the crates began falling.
For the mask trap, use the cinder block to buy time, then use the scalpel to cut the leather straps. Don't know how long it takes to cut through 2 leather straps, but it'd probably take longer than a minute
8:05 Sub-zero wins: Fatality
With the shotgun one, the person grabbing the key doesn't even have to get shot. The judge was the one who got shot because he walked by it when he was grabbing the key. You can reach your arm in while making sure your body is out of the way and, make sure no one walks by, and you're fine
@@mortak6307 lmao
it was all a test to see if he would take a bullet
@@hawksgoated3613 but why would you take a bullet when you can easily avoid it?
@@hfcb_ Notice how there's no lock for the key to be used. The machine would have stopped if Jeff was willing to take the bullet. The shotgun only went off, because Jeff tried to cheat his way through...
@@xD34613 Even if he stood in front of the gun and pulled the key all the way out, he'd have to let go of that cord eventually and would get shot (unless you're saying the gun magically knows what angle it's being pulled from and only fires from a certain angle). Then he would die, and so would his sons' killer, who would either bleed out or succumb to shock due to his macerated limbs. In fact, even if he'd gotten her free, the first victim would most likely have gone into shock from hypothermia before escaping the warehouse, too.
Mom can we have jigsaw?

@@marvinarsolon715 Hoffman just wanted them to die.. none of his traps we're actually able to get out
I know it seems like the judge has his wound on the wrong side, but it's likely an exit wound which is much larger than the bullet's point of entry. Otherwise this is an excellent video! Very well thought out and engaging 😄
Also the shotgun collar trap, you could easily open the shotgun shells and empty the lead shot and wadding and powder. Then it’s a cap gun collar. Just the primer will make a small pop sound when the hammers hit.
Correction: Jeff doesn’t burn his face. The pipe is so cold his face sticks to it and he has to rip it off.
I was literally about to comment that!
Skye Schoen if so, I’m sorry I stole your comment
Techincally true, but burning feels the same as freezing for the body at high (or low) enough temperatures.
DejaVu I’ll just take your word for it since I hope to never experience either of those feelings.
Nah it’s all good. Great minds think alike
Imagine if a speed runner gets kidnapped by jigsaw
Ha. Only a minute and thirty seconds I'll beat it in 4 second
He'd probably bitch about some really minuscule detail that applys to the rules of the game and die to "bad rng" on the first trap shortly after.
"I wanna play a g-"
"Alright, done, bye!"
**somehow have a water bucket inside his pockets**
Imagine being a Speedrunner in Jeffs Situation with the knowledge of this video..
The Movie wouldn't even last 10 minutes and all ppl survived (at least the one which were possible to rescue)
*Rare Achievement Unlocked: Escape Jigsaw in under 10 minutes in a truly pacifist way*
At 12:20 just wanted to try to explain that why his other half of the face is missing is because of the exit wound unusually makes a big area of damage because the bullet breaks on the bones and smashes out the other side hope that helped
This is basically the only way i can watch these things without getting nightmares
I like the theory Jeff suffered a head injury from his fall off the forklift that is responsible for his poor choices
Nah he just dumb lol
Or he was okay with them dying and just wants the screaming to stop.
These videos really expose how flawed the designs are in these traps.
It wouldn't be a horror movie if the victims were intelligent.

What a hypocrite.
@ilikebacon Hmm, not really. No matter the context revenge that results in death goes against John's morals, so he himself would be someone he'd trap; making him a hypocrite. But that's just his mentality as a serial killer. Even if he thinks he's doing justice, he's not, he's just exempt from his own rules.
right he even did the same thing to cecil (the guy who made jill have a miscarriage) so Idk why he's so mad

Me: *feeling sad after my dog dies*
John Kramer: Interesting.
That wasn’t the purpose to why John did it with Jeff mourning his son’s death. The real reason was that his raging ego lead him to drinking, depression, and anger. As a result, he became aggressive with his daughter and the moment she tries to play with his son’s possession like toys or hats, Jeff gets real defensive against her and basically abuses her for doing simply just that, so, that was the reason. And all John wants Jeff to do is to let go of his anger and vengeance since all that is destroying his family. But in the end, Straham puts an end to Jeff.
@@sonicexereaper6814 It was really none of Johns business. He could have kidnapped him and forced him to go to therapy, not put his whole family at risk. Everyone except the daughter ended up dead. How did he even know about that
Pathetic Don’t forget that John ain’t the type of guy to be remorseful when it comes to people not changing their ways. Also, in Saw IV and Jigsaw, it shows him starting his observation progression on his victims like the Gas House group, Lawrence Gordon, Adam, William, Razor Wire guy, Anna, Mitch, Ryan, Hallerand, Hoffman, etc. that were longways before their games even started. Also, another thing to note is that he has his own apprentices observing every target John wants to them to observe on. Not to mention he has his loyal apprentices like Lawrence Gordon observing every suspicious move from any of his apprentices like Hoffman since he builds nearly inescapable traps and the fact he became a terrorist who then murdered Jill. Anyway, well, John had a good reason also to why he wants Linda to be abducted. According to Gordon’s observation, not only was she a well-trained nurse, but during her moments after Jeff’s son’s death, she started to fail her tasks as a nurse that ended up creating conflicting results to those sick and those in lethal conditions. So, the shotgun vest idea was all John’s since he wanted to make sure that Linda gets out of that defeated bubble and go back to her normal duty as a successful nurse while also making sure she feels the pain of regret where John’s death means her death by failure, reflecting her failures towards her patients she failed upon. Also, we do know that John planned to test Amanda’s ego in trying not to kill, but however; he didn’t knew she was doing it on purpose under Hoffman’s advise so that she can prevent him from snitching to John that she helped Cecil. Of course, not only did she failed, but she took the throat shot from Jeff. And in the end, the true test was that John wants Jeff to put aside his vengeance and move on with his life, but in the end, Jeff’s ego resulted Linda being dead and his daughter left to die, except she gets rescued by Hoffman so that Hoffman earn his title as a hero. But also, speaking of that, there’s a thought I have where John probably knew Jeff’s daughter would be “saved” by Hoffman and that he was just saying “limited oxygen supply” to spook Jeff and to make him regret his decision. Kinda like how he told Matthews in Saw 2 that Daniel is in a safe place while also scaring him with replayed footage as the time counts down. Anyway, that’s all I have to say about it and what was John’s reasoning to abduct Jeff and his family. And once again, Jigsaw was once a one-man test giver, but after Hollerand, he started to make his victims become his eyes all around the country.
That's called grieving my guy.
@@pathetic2399 exactly even I felt the same I mean imagine if any parent loses his son/daughter in an accident due to driver's carelessness and the driver walks away without getting arrested, how would you feel as a parent I mean can't he even grieve for his son's death?

“Hello HitStart. I want to play a game”
“What have you got, Jigsaw!? I can figure out your traps no pro-“
“I will send in blueprints for each trap I am planning on creating. I will let you live if you can proof them and make them inescapable”
“wait what”
I mean, seeing as John already makes traps that are fairly easy to cheat through(from a viewer's standpoint), he would probably let him
go after only making minor improvements, since John wouldn't be good at judging how secure they are.

20 YEARS LATER
HitStart: "I would like to play a game"
but what's the point then, why not just shoot them
sounds like something Amanda would ask him to do
"The people in them weren't meant to survive at all." Say what you will about the sequels, I kinda like this detail. The fact that some of the traps weren't meant to be survived this time around clues the investigators in that it has to be someone different this time, as John always made sure people could survive his traps no matter what.
Yeah did u even watch the video before commenting Bc those traps were the girls fault even the the first movie they couldn’t escape Bc of the girl
Except for Adam. Adam had a way to get out of the trap except Jigsaw basically put him in a trap he couldn't escape. His one means of escape, the key to his chains, went down the drain. He had no way of stopping it since he was unconscious, woke up, and the key had already gone down the drain and was lost. So Jigsaw is kind of a hypocrite in that he did put someone in an unbeatable trap.
@@TornAlchemist Amanda was responsible for placing the Key, she screwed him over, not John
What about the paralyzed dude in Saw 1. Where was his chance at redemption. Or the carousel trap in Saw 6. Those people had absolutely no way of controlling their own fate. And before you saw "Well that was Hoffman." John still set it up. Hoffman just carried it out.
