In this video, we talk about the ASE A8 test. This test was on the harder side since it focused mostly on emissions systems and troubleshooting problems with the vehicle's performance due to emissions-related components. There were some oddball questions on the test that covered compressions tests and cylinder power-balance tests. Also, the charging system came up so taking the A8 later is a good idea since other tests cover those areas more in detail.
Also, whatever study guide you have, take the practice tests, and after you finish scoring them write done what you got wrong. I.E. the answers and the systems it was talking about. Go and research and watch videos on those areas till you understand it completely. After you do that for all your practice tests go back and redo the practice tests. All of them. This is a really important step.

EGR delete kits are used for converting to alcohol fuel. They run so cold, it's detrimental.
I am confused...are we talking about the same thing because the EGR kit is an emissions system.

Good Luck! You got this. If you have any question let me know. Make sure to understand the EVAP, EGR, and Catalytic Convertor systems really well. @@12mak You’ll do great.👍 Test was easier then I thought. Had a lot of questions about evap. Different no start senrios. And a lot of wiring diagram questions. Like Driver therapy mention make sure you know understand the evap, catalytic converter, EGR, Ignition systems etc well. Im just happy I finally passed it. Now on to the next. Btw I used the motor age books to study and practice questions online.
