Just passed my last ASE (A2 as well) and I’ve watched every single one of your ASE test prep videos and I want to say a HUGE thank you! You have helped me so much with knowing what areas to study and know well before I go to take my tests. Awesome channel man you’re doing a huge service to all the newer technicians!
Congratulations!!! Thank you for making my morning today. I read your comment and it made me so happy. Congratulations Certified Master Technician!!! You earned it and you did something to be proud of. 💪🏽😎🙂😎😎
Ty for making these! I just got my master cert! These vids helped me! I'm 10 for 10 with the delmar books but of course i youtubed theory of operations also and got a grasp at how things worked!!
Awesome! I am super happy to hear that. Comments like these make my day so thank you! Master Tech!
Great job with passing your test man. I’m not taking these tests but If I was I would be glad someone is talking about it in detail.
Thank you! It has been a journey taking them and I have learned a lot in the process. I appreciate you watching the videos. 🤘🏽
This was my final test and Im officially a Master Mechanic. Thank u for your advice and input. I literally bought every book u suggested for each test and watched the links u suggested. Thanks again!
Congratulations!!! Master Tech. I am proud of you and you should be very proud of yourself. You did it. And thank you for letting me know and watching our videos. Your comment made my day. The only thing I ask is to share our videos and tell people your experience, that helps and we appreciate it. Let me know if you need anything.
I appreciate your honesty with the difficulty of the test.
Thanks! It was a tough one. If you need any additional help with the test let me know. 🙂💪🏽😎
Just wanna say thank you for all of these ASE vids. I go to a technical high school and I’m going for auto tech and we have 10 ASE test we can take. I have 8 passed but looking to get all 10 and of course the last two are automatic transmission and manual. But thank you for taking your time for these videos really appreciate it!!!!!
Hi! That is awesome and congratulations on your success up to now. It’s great to hear from you guys who are kicking butt and taking names. Let me know if you have any questions or need anything. You got those last two tests!
@@DriversTherapy thanks man really appreciate it taking the manual transmission test this coming Friday and looking forward to your manual transmission vid
Congratulations on getting your master patch man
Thank you! I appreciate it. 😀
When replacing the transmission extension housing bushing and seal, which of the following should also be inspected?
A. Output shaft bearing
B. Extension housing gasket
C. Driveshaft slip yoke
D. Speedometer drive O-ring
????😁
Noo!! Don’t remind me of questions hahaha I would go with extension housing gasket for any leaks.
😁😁😁😁😁👍
Man, I'm going in to test in about 10 days. I'm freaking out a little lol. This will be my last 8th ASE too. Motorage has helped, coupled with tearing apart 4L60E again...and again...and yes, again. Confidence level is low lol. Wish me luck!
You got this! Make sure to get the Delmar books and go through the practice test twice. The first time will help you see what you need to study, and the next round will help you to make sure you got it covered. Take the time to understand also how all the valves work and if they good bad. But I honestly think you if you go through the practice tests twice, read the Delmar books, understand valves, components, and shifting diagnostic chart, and reading the MotorAge book, you should be fine. Just make sure to do the practice test but don't rush. Anything you get wrong you have to watch at least a few CZcams videos about it.
Can you explain the math on how to select the correct selective snap ring with given measurements
Ummm not really???
I'm taking my A2 test again soon I missed it by 2 questions last time 😢 this time I'm going to pass great video
I know the feeling! I missed a test by a few points too but you got this!!!
i missed mine by two points too! that's how i ended here. retaking mine next week
Missed it by one! The clearance question are the hardest any help figuring out?
Oh no! I have been there before. By a few questions. Arrrr. Yes, I would watch a video on someone checking clearances and make sure you cover most of the common inspections and tools. Here is an example of a video: czcams.com/video/dAqAqODmcj4/video.html It is a long video, but it will help. Make sure to watch videos for all the clearances and if you can go to a shop and see if they can let you watch or show you how it is done in person.
Can a slipping gear cause the input sensor spin slower in direct drive than the output speed sensor!
hardest test for me, that is why I am here. My Nissan/Infiniti master tech status lapsed because I've failed this retake twice, going for 3 this week.
You got this, just understand the diagram really well as far as the clutches and when they are on and off. It can get confusing but if you need extra help, let me know.
@@DriversTherapy passed!
Auto trans is the only Ase I've failed. Once on my first time around, twice on my recerts.
You aren't kidding about those charts.
Those charts suck! Let me know if you need some help understanding them.
A2 It is very challenging especially with time limit
It is. :) But sounds like you kicked it's butt.
So now that you're at master, are you gonna try for L1?
Hi! I have been thinking about it. What are you thoughts on the L1?
I personally haven't taken it yet, I'm still trying to get to master. I'm a Toyota tech and to get to the top rank for Toyota you need a1-a8 and l1. Ive heard its a tough one though! Congratulations on master by the way
@@codybrewer955 I got my L1 study guide. Thank you for bringing it up. I would have not done it if it wasn't for your comment. When I take the test and pass, I will make a video for sure.
@@DriversTherapy awesome man! Good luck dude and will be looking forward to hearing your feedback.
@@codybrewer955 thank you! 🤘🏽
Good stuff bro! I personally don’t like the motor age books, they suck. Delmar is better
Hahah that is funny you say that. We are doing a video talking about both books. I personally found both helpful but different from one another.
I cant even pass one test 😢
I understand. But you can do it. I was that was and I am know a Master tech working on my world class. Send me a message IG (drivers therapy) if you need extra help or advice.
Got two left till I’m a master tec
You got this!!! I am proud of you man. You are going to do great! Let me know if you needed any additional help.
Thank you, my friend!
