    32:28 On the wide decision with Kettleborough, there is a law that states that umpires can decide to not give a wide if they feel it has been delivered on purpose and against the spirit of the game. So it was a fair decision

    As an Indian -> Let me tell you a true, hard fact. No one gives a shit for a match between anyone other than India. Its not procedural issues, or security check, etc that is leading to empty seats -> Its the convenience of watching 'less important' games from your home that trumps everything. Also, you'll see a lot more people when tournament reaches its business end near the semis where people would like to witness the spectacle in person.

      Ok, I will explain to you. It's actually quite interesting. So, it's made up of two parts Ra and Chin. Now, Rachin's father is great fan of both Dravid and Sachin (who isn't). So, he took Ra from Rahul Dravid and Chin from Sachin Tendulkar to come up with Rachin as a name for his Son.
      The above is a propaganda broadcasters are spreading (Don't let them tell you otherwise). It's actually is Ra from Rack (a clothing rack) and Chin from Chintz (printed cotton fabric). This name cause Rachin sweats a lot and always wears and has cotton clothes on his rack.

    Englands "one day revolution" was always going to tank at some point. It was based on very flat pitches, and stacking the batting down to number 11 full of sloggers- sound familiar?
    In the 2017 in the champions trophy semi final they complained the pitch at Cardiff was too slow for their style, in the 2019 World Cup they lost to Pakistan Sri Lanka and aus in the group stages and just about scraped the final with overthrows off Ben stokes bat and boundary count. It was always going to crash and burn at some point

    • @rajrohit897
      @rajrohit897 Před 10 měsíci +2

      U are talking as if no team takes a dip at any point. The current team is different from their 2017 and 2019 setups. Jason Roy is out and out mistake to be left out which is England's issue but Bairstow isn't the same Bairstow of 2019 and the middle order of Root, Morgan and Stokes is hands down vastly superior to Brook, Stokes, Butler of now.
      Touting England's one day revolution as some thing that is made up by people and not really something they worked really hard at is plain disrespect to the game. They really went out there and did it. They changed the way people play this game. Ofcourse with stuff like these will have issues and England did get bowled out often but they kept to their ways and went on to not just win 2019 wc but even win the 2022 t20 wc.
      Don't think the strategy is the issue. It's the mindset. They were complacent in these games hoping they will do well when time comes instead of preparing the way they did before this year...similar to Australia. Both teams are tired as fuck and just want to complete this so they can go home but the Aussie spirit of fighting when backed to the walls finally kicked in and they seem to be wanting to put in the final effort now. That's what it looks like. They might do well..same can't be said for the english team

    • @jehanariyaratnam2874
      @jehanariyaratnam2874 Před 10 měsíci

      @@rajrohit897 it was a strategy, from 1996-2015 their one day cricket was a joke but as long as they were winning test cricket at home, especially the ashes, no one cared and they just continued to be an embarrassment at every tournament. They only played well in home tournaments when they had the conditions and the crowd like the 2004 and 2013 champions trophies, but even then they couldn't win them.
      They were very lucky to win the 2019 World Cup, and since them they've just been hanging on, they never got better or has sustained success after that. The t20 World Cup win last year was also somewhat of a surprise, they ended up just peaking at the right time. They weren't favourites early on.
      When England sink rock bottom their instinct is just pick sloggers and play high risk cricket and not care about the consequences if it goes wrong- Bazball is exactly the same. It lacks any kind of subtlety.
      Sustained success is based on real quality, that's why Australia were number 1 in odi cricket from 1999-2015. That's also why they're still feared now. They lack a 2nd spinner, but all teams know if all their players click at the same time they will be very difficult to stop.

    In all seriousness Kettleborough should be reprimanded for that decision. Absolutely appalling. That said, I would also say that the act of a player putting in a deliberately poor performance should be considered fixing (obviously to prove that would be an almost impossible task). A similar incident I remember was Suraj Randiv delivering a no ball to deny Sehwag a hundred.

      There must have been an asian curator for the venues in the 2015 and 2019 world cup as well because as far as i remember india won 6 out of 6 and 7 out of 9 (1 washed out) matches during the group stages.

    • @samsiddh
      @samsiddh Před 10 měsíci

      @@johntoil5505 india can definitely win without it.. just that a lot of people who run it feel they can’t..the right way is the hard way, the riskier way.. it’s better to win being resourceful than lose being brave.. can you imagine the contest if Australia and India played the match on the kind of pitch that was prepared for the games India played against minnows? Now who wants to risk that?! Our idea of entertainment is a light show and a happy ending.. if cricket becomes a casualty, so be it! We don’t have a Ben Stokes in our midst, we are not seeking revolution.. it’s been a 11 year drought and we count on Stokes to save cricket if that’s his purpose - maybe he saves ODI after Tests by turning England from where they are.. we love the fact that the world is buzzing about the death of ODI, as we quietly take the trophy.. Curator curator : semi final 1 & final - slow, low, up & down bounce, 250 would be a par score..
