Great commentary. This is good stuff . An innovating view. Nylander was caught flat footed as if he had a full double hip procedure. Coasting and gliding, watching. You’d keep him? At his cost ? Marner is useless and needs to understand his tantrums and salary don’t add up. You’ve got yourself a classic case of the Mount Rushmore of leafs here. They should have kept Babcock and traded lazy Matthews. Tavares isn’t much more than a 3 line 3 million. Anyway good luck
In business NOTHING happens until something is sold. If these core four clowns were the sales team of a business - no more business. Once and for all and for the last time. You can't repeat with these four regular season players who are consistent no-shows come playoffs and expect long series runs. The Leafs need to win 16 playoff games for the CUP. They've never ever done this - not once. Let's get past 3 wins first.
Dude this year they lost by 1 frikking goal. Swayman was a monster and the key players were injured/sick. Had they had their full roster we probably have a different outcome. Especially Nylander. he missed the first what 3 games? I disagree with you. Keep the core.
We'll respectfully have to disagree which is fine lol I feel I can say the same thing about 8 of the 9 years they lost in the first round.. With the amount of cap this core 4 takes up they should be able to elevate their game.. Toronto put themselves in this position I'll admit that.. but to keep going back to what clearly isn't working is the definition of insanity.. I will be the first to eat my words happily if they do manage to win with this core however. But until then Im skeptical! Thanks for watching
@@md20062 Here is how stupid your logic is. Are you ready? Alex Ovechkin came into the league in 2006 and joined the Washington Capitals. For the next 11 years , let me repeat ELEVEN YEARS, they never advanced beyond round 2. The chorus erupted across the land that Alex was incapable of winning a cup. he was too this. he was too that. And then in the Capitals, his team WON THE FRIKKING CUP. Nobody wins until they do. He could just as easily not won it. A PP here. A fluke bounce there. Play the year 2018 over again and maybe another team wins that cup. And folks would say SEE Alex did not have what it took to win. That is why I defend the Leafs and the core. I cannot guarantee a win anymore than you can guarantee a loss. Anything is possible. The Leafs core is capable of winning, in the same way most other teams are capable of winning.
over paid ego's....period.

I'm slowly convinced that if they don't make changes either MLSE doesn't care about winning or they are to stubborn to make a move.
Geez get over it if you could just realize they are a entertainment team hence Maple Leafs Sports and Entertainment
I'd be more entertained if they won or made any progress just sayin'
Boo hoo 😢
lol I'm shockingly at peace/ numb to it! Bruins won fair and square!
