A lot a guys don't like to share, so it was right generous of him to do so, and would like to extend our appreciation. What I like about the Maintainer is you got a good hunk of metal to work with if welding in repairs and things like that. That compressor had some quick recovery time. Most impressed.
Thank's Mr.Billy for your generosity and we hope Tim didn't get on your nerves..LOL
Great video Tim, You take care out there, and have a great day..
Maintainers have been in the front for years on service bodies. Just a great system. Nice job, and thank him for the opportunity.
Thank you sir for letting Tim walk around the truck . Made me feel like the time I got a new international. . that when they came out with that body style
AWESOME!!! SERVICE TRUCK!!!💯👍🏻💯❤️
Nice truck those maintainer beds are the best.
That service truck looks sharp. That rig would amazing to have.
Very nice truck. Thanks for showing it to us.
Very nice truck. I like how those tool trays lock. Great video
Nice set up the compressor is fast to build air no waiting for sure
Awesome truck
Great video. That's a nice service truck stay safe. God bless you'll
Impressive truck. Jay would like it. Air compressor was very quick.
Almost like a Rail Road Truck with out the lil Track Wheels, nice!
i love those service trucks and all the stuff they put on them
good video tim 👍
Nice looking service truck you all need one but I know $$$$$$$$. Good video tim thank for sharing
Very nice truck enjoyed that great job CT3!!!
Great video Tim 👍👍👍
great video Tim thats a nice service truck but it would be troublesome getting in and out of the woods be safe and have a blessed day !
That is a really nice truck!
I love those L-series John Deere skidders man I just recently started driving one
Very nice! Thanks for sharing 👍
Really nice truck. I hope you told Mr. Billy that you expected him to keep them rims washed and polished every week, LOL!
When I saw the thumb nail, thought it was your truck and you were taking Jay in full time ;-)
Nice rig!!
Good looking truck
Those Maintainer beds are made just north of me in Sheldon IA. When I was in college a couple of guys in my class worked there. They are some really nice service bodies and it is neat driving past the place just to see all of the different trucks sitting out front all finished up along with the chassis waiting their turn to be mated with a new box in the very near future.
That is pretty cool
Love your videos. Im a logger in sweden. The mechanics here only use like the mb sprinter and vw crafter busses in the forrest jobs
Loved the "tour" of the maintenance truck!Everything has its place!and the locking drawers so they can't open while underway. The doors look substantial to keep vandals and thieves out.Yes,the compressor on that truck it does "top up the wind" fast!!!!And it was being used-under load.Wonder what ype of compressor that isd-recip or screw?
Super nice truck
Sick vise too.
Boy that's nice.
That's a nice bed
Nice service truck
Nice Truck. All I could think about was “I would take forever to switch over all of my tools.”
nice truck!!
nice truck, if heat running to the boxes they wont freeze either. all the dealer service vans are mercedes sprinters around here, volvo have a little daf van truck also.
👌💪NICE EQUIPMENT, FUN to wrench with tools like that.😊🛠🛠🛠😍😍😍😍😍
If I remember right Maintainer beds are pressurized also.
Hey Tim that truck there is the real deal
A truck full of badassery and brawn but they got goldfish lol thanks to Mr Billy and ct3
That thang ain’t pumping some air 😎
Nice!!!
Great video
nice truck
Nice service truck very good bodybuilding company. They do have all wheel drive in that model cranes made well to I used to work for liebherr cranes you know can just tell when it's made good.
3:37 I just turned on the radio and it was playing the same song😂
As you would say Tim, that truck is bad to the bone!! :)
Nice truck for sure Napa mike
Beautiful truck, taken any bets on how long b4 he gives that stack a lil kiss from that boom?
Nice 👌
That's a pretty neat truck bed and it's cool to see how other brands build their beds. I work at the Knapheide manufacturing company in quincy IL I work on the crain body line building those exact type bodies.
I was wanting to get that gooseneck bed y’all build for my ram and I called one dealer and said it wasn’t made for a short wheel base truck. Do y’all make anything like that that’ll work on a single rear wheel 3500 short bed?
I'm not sure I will check into it for you though I see all the product we build.
I checked with my boss and he said you can put in a custom order and we will build it. I personally like the PGND bodies I want one for my truck.
Mitchell Owen that is exactly what I want. Can u get me an email or someone who I can talk to about what I’m after? Shoot me an email cotontop3@yahoo.com
Yes I will go in the office on Monday I can give them your first and last name with a phone number and they will get you set up.
Nice
Dam nice service truck ! I like his old wilton vise on the back i do beleve ?
U got a nice service truck and i like the sit up just about like mine but mine is a atuo crane and can u start ur truck with the remote for the crane and turn on the air
Goldfish! Enough said!
If you’re spending that much money on a service truck like that, you’re almost better to spend a bit more and put the hydraulic 4x4 front end on it like Bobby Goodson did on their Ford.
I wonder if that compressor could run my dads shop, 3 lifts and then of course his hand tools
By any chance are y’all the crew that cuts the cedar for cedar safe ? Giles and Kendall ? Whatever they are called now. I live about 15 minutes from their mill
Great vid on service truck👍what about goose neck trailer that can be hook up to tractor or truck, with built on maintainer service body built onto trailer. I know weight be factor but can be tow out in bad conditions.
Nice trucks but we have nothing but trouble with the Hydraulics and electrical part of it hydraulics in our boom
is that a Wilton bench vise?
Are those big tires made in USA?
I wish my work truck had one of those nice Maintainer work bodies. The Knapheide bed on my truck is already leaking and the doors dont latch right after only a year of use.
That's sad cause those are made a few hours from me by good people, but I wouldn't even buy one. Either a Maintainer, Reading or Highway Products would be the only ones I would consider.
@ yup my coworker has a Reading on his truck and ive already called dibs on it when he retires. The Knapheide has good welds and solid craftsmanship but it is made of lighter steel and of an inferior design.
I just got a knapheide service box. The first trip out in the snow, there was snow inside compartments. What a disappointment. I've had the truck for two months.
Interesting
With the size of the back seat I would carry a air mattress with me just in case.
Big money, best thing international did is put Cummins in their trucks.
And if he doesn't put another bucket seat in the passenger side if anyone ride's in the back seat they will freeze to death in the winter and burn up in the summer the seat blocks the air from going to the back of the cab we had International dealer to remove the passenger seat and put a bucket seat in it fix the problem for the people in the back
I’m surprised it was that quiet even though it was reciprocating. I wonder how quiet the model up is which is a rotary screw compressor.
They're actually louder.
I have a Vanair 40cfm rotary screw on my truck. It is crazy loud. The rotary screw compressors are overkill unless you use A LOT of air. Most field mechanics in my area are making the switch to cordless electric tools anyway. No reason to spend the extra bucks on the rotary screw if you only use air for filling tires.
Nice Truck! Are yalls Ram service trucks 4x4 Tim?
Yes ours are 4x4
It would be very hard for me to buy that expensive of a truck from a company that designed and built the VT365, MaxxForce 7, and MaxxForce 13. And they supported there customers oh so well when they had issues. Good looking truck don't get me wrong, but Navistar's business ethics has been down the drain for some time now
Emissions killed their good engines. At least this is a Cummins
@@TechOut They chose not to update their engines. Cummins, Detroit/Mercedes, Hino, Paccar had no where near the issues.
It's Cummins powered so. They also built the likes of the DT466
crazyjdkid it’s not because they didn’t update it’s the way the updated and technology they used. They had to update that was government mandated emissions
@@TechOut yes, I know they attempted to use an "advanced EGR system" which was a joke.
Too nice of a service truck..lol
What model is it. Damn I hate to pay for a bring new truck. It must cost 80,000 or more
Cotontop3 Is there a way to contact this person? I am also looking at getting an international MV service truck with a crew cab and 14,000lb crane. I would like to ask him couple of questions on his experience with this service truck.
The engine in that truck was more than likely built at the plant I work at in NC
What size is in that truck?
May be 6.7 or 8.9 but we build most of Cummins midrange engines
Is it a Cummins?
I would think its a dt maxforce international engine?
I guess you didn’t watch the video and see it had Cummins on the side of the truck and hear me say it in the video?
Nice new truck with that old rusty vice on the rear bumper!
That old vice is ten times the vise you'd buy today!
👍👍
He doesn’t know much about a Wilton vise.
@@cotontop3 they sure dont make em like they used to
Hell we got Rear ended and the only thing that didn't get destroyed was that Wilton Vice.
Yha. Dont get rid of that vise. That the real deal not some junk new one
Do u still have the 726
Yes
I hope it is powered by the Cummins and not International N9 N13 series. If it has the International engine you will have issues. Lots of DTCs. High failure with EGR coolers. You have to ask yourself why would International put a Cummins in an International. There's a reason.
Nice truck,I'm guess that $150k empty?
Maybe more. Just the truck was over 100 i bet
um I think you misspelled intertrashinal
Man... if I had that rig I COULD ALMOST BE AS RICH AS YOUR LOGGING OPERATION! !
That truck does not belong to us. I explain all of that in the video.
Nice new service truck, not sure why it needed to be a crew cab tho
That is a loggers service truck and that is what his crew rides in to get to the job.
Awww ok, I wasn't thinking of that 👍
Tell Wes he needs one or those for his machinery. Especially for the trip to the Carolinas to do straw
hey tim, be careful the dot will bust your hind end here for tinted windows on a commercial vehicle
Not tims truck
It's his friends truck, and he just said their business name. Just tryna help a guy out, the laws may differ there, not sure.
You must be paying him way too much if he can afford that rig :)
That truck belongs to that logger I was visiting. All of that info is in the video.
