I have a 002, the best thing I bought in my life. It's fantastic, I can play from blues to 80s metal, vintage and high gain. I see that 005 is more versatile and has more gain, in fact I was undecided, but I choose 002 because I prefer Marshall sounds, I love JCM 800 and 900. For more gain I use a Vintage Tube Screamer, or at least the Metal Zone.
The problem is that I cannot play well... sad story.
Just keep playing, you'll get better.

I use a mooer 002 stacked with a Boss super overdrive. It sounds amazing. The only thing I dislike about mooer preamps is their high current draw. (300 mAh)

I love mine. With these micro preamps you have to make sure they receiving the proper 9v 300mA power to work without issue, otherwise you might have audio dropouts. I also find a little bit of persistent subtle reverb masks the dead silence of the cab sim for a more realistic sound, especially going direct. Also takes pedals in front and behind really well too!
Hi! 002’s drive is really perfect but do you recommend 002’s clean sound? I also have mooer solo pedal and i wanna buy 002 for marshall’s clean amp sound and equalizer. Do you recommend 002 for this usage ? ( I have a small band and we perform in bars. (my main goal is to get the clean sound properly and to be able to boost the clean volume a bit)
@@enescetinkaya1002 I think yeah it's decent. Now that I've spent some more time with it you get to know the gear better. The clean can be VERY clean to slight breakup. Unless you need an ultra tiny pedal I might recommend the Mooer X2 preamp instead, I think it might that much more flexible as you can do so much more with the cabsims and preamp options, and you can load your own IRs, it's also a little bit more money. The 002 and similar only do 2 sounds and if you buy and don't like well you have to live with it. The only saving grace of these micro pedals is they are cheaper and if you want something more simple to use. Just my 2 cents.

Reall JCM900 clean channel with maxed gain is a crunch, they should emulate this as well.
With my guitar continued clean ... but look at this video (czcams.com/video/pABpfXLIXlI/video.html) at 12:14 with another guitar that gets crunch.
@@DirectRecordingGuitar Yeah, it's better. I simply have to try it in guitar shop and boosting it with RAT2 to get that Morbid Angel sound :) A have no interest to buy 100w tube JCM900 halfstack for bedroom playing if I could get this, and maybe Mooer Baby Bomb as a poweramp.
@@Lukasz_KLAT My thoughts precisely. I'm getting the Bomb, and all I'll need is my Bassbreaker 112 cab which is light as a feather but puts out some serious British tone.
I'll always prefer my full rig when possible, but often I have to DI or go for something like a compromise eg: UK Gold> Baby Bomb> Cab (effects not included, I'd run the delays and reverb after the 002, etc) so if it means I don't have to mortgage my ass and buy a Kemper, all the better.
@@Lukasz_KLAT I use a RAT2 as well. Running it after a GE-7 set to "fuzzify" the RAT for certain tones is awesome. Don't need to worry about fussy fuzz pedals and impedance.
I still love my Fuzz pedals tho...

Cara, os dois são excelentes (G5n e 002). A vantagem do 002 é que por ser pequeno vc pode encaixá-lo em qualquer set de pedais ou mesmo no send/return de uma pedaleira como a GT100, Gt10, Gt8, etc... e usá-lo como o preamp e simulador de gabinete da pedaleira.
Inclusive farei um vídeo assim com a Gt100... desativarei todos os preamps da Gt100 e o 002 assumirá o posto. Já percebeu que a Gt100 virará outra pedaleira né? A essência dos seus timbres mudarão completamente.

Essa linha micro preamps da Mooer tem me agradado bastante. Muito satisfeito com o 002 e o 005.
The cab sim seems really ok, but there's some top end sizzle that real guitar speaker chops off. But for it's size it's amazing how acurate it sounds. I wonder how it can rip with a quality IR cab sim.

So my son's main amp for worship is a Vox AC15 but we also play punk music together but he doesn't like the gain structure coming from the amp so he is using his Walrus Audio preamp I think it's the Messner but it doesn't have a lot of gain on it. This pedal sounds like it might work, was this a direct recording or are you running through and amp?

Fala cara... sim, o 002 simula apenas o Marshall JCM900. Canal clean e drive. Na comparação dele com o radar nos vários cabs da pra ver que ele soa um pouco menos definido e encorpado, e é claro que é natural, ja que o radar tem mais recursos, mas tipo, tu chegou a comparar o cab próprio dele, com o mesmo cab simulado no radar? valew
Fala Kelvin! O 002 simula o preamp e gabinete do Marshall JCM900 porém os micropreamps não são impulse response, são simulações convencionais, ótimas simulações! Já o Radar aplica impulse response ao som, que são arquivos feitos de gabinetes, falantes e mics reais... por isso vc sentiu a diferença. Tenho trabalhos gravados aqui em estúdio com o 002 mas não posso postar devido aos direitos autorais.

Sim. Eu trabalho em estúdio com gravações há anos. Eu tenho um cd aqui que gravei inteiramente com o 002, usando os canais clean e drive. Eu queria deixar registrado o timbre dele mas não posso postar. Vou ver se consigo separar trechos e coloco no Google Drive pra vc dar uma escutada. Usei ele no send/return da Gt100, desativei todos os preamps e gabinetes da GT e o 002 foi o preamp e gabinete. Vai me lembrando que assim que tiver um tempo aqui eu separo esses sons pra vc escutar.

JCM 900 = Punk, Hardcore, Morbid Angel e Obituary (com Boost específico) até moderno com eq antes ou boost.
EVH 5153 = Parece um Peavey 5150 com um boost, e vai ser o preferido da maioria, porém mesmo que pareça mais versátil ainda o JCM 900 navega com maestria por diferentes estilos, e nem o JCM 800 bate quando bem utilizado e sabendo as combinações.
Maravilha! Tenho um pedalboard com uns 6 pedais que terminam com flashback delay e rv-500 em stereo. Daria pra usar dois desses pra ligar minha cadeia direto na mesa de som e eles dariam um grau na cadeia em stereo mesmo pros speakers? Fico vendo esses pequeninos e dá um medo de dar problema...
Fala amigão... quanto à sua primeira pergunta eu não sei te responder pois não tenho um Flashback e um Rv500 aqui pra testar mas quanto à construção dos Mooer pode ficar tranquilo pois são muito robustos. Tenho vários deles há anos, o Eleclady e o Ensemble Chorus já devem ter uns 5 anos de uso intenso. Abração.

Hi.. If you are going to use only the clean channel it can be last, after G5n. But if you are going to use the clean and drive channels, it must be before the G5n. Yes! This pedal simulates the Jcm900 clean and the dist channel. This pedal will work very well on your Marshall's clean channel. 002 has the option to simulate the cabinet, if you want to plug it straight into the sound desk into the PA system or your USB interface.
Run this pedal by the return in the FX loop of your amp, this way your amplifier will work as a power amp.

Hi... You can send the micripreamp directly to the mixer/PA system in live shows or USB interface for home recordings.

Your real amp already has a Power Amp to amplify the signal that goes through the preamp and send it to the speaker. You cannot plug a Power Amp pedals like the EHX Magnum 44 or Mooer Baby Bomb into the input of a real amp, you will seriously damage your amp, perhaps irreversibly. Never do that.

Power Amp pedals like the EHX Magnum 44 or Mooer Baby Bomb must be plugged into cabinets (as Marshall 4x12, 1x12, 2x12 // Mesa Boogie or others). They will amplify the signal from your pedalboard and send it to the cabinet + speaker. But never on amp input.

Fala Fernando... se vc não curte muito os preamps da Me25, um preamp desse da Mooer resolve fácil. Mas pesquisa antes um que entre no seu estilo de som. Pro meu estilo pessoal eu uso o 004 pra repertórios mais clean tipo MPB, pop ou groove funk com stratocaster e uso o 005 pra repertórios mais pesados, hardrock/metal com muitos riffs e solos. Dá uma pesquisada no tipo que mais combina com seu som. Aqui eu tenho esses na playlist

Fala Jean! Dos que tenho atualmente e já tive, pois alguns eu vendi, os dois que mais gosto são o 002 e o 005. Mas, apesar dos gabinetes nativos deles soarem muito bem eu sempre uso com Impulse Response (Radar ou o Cab Box). Isso pra meu uso pessoal.
Gosto do som deles nessa pegada com IR czcams.com/video/jyihJPcNvsw/video.html // Posicionando pedais de drive antes do micropreamp e passando pelo canal clean soam excelentes, pelo menos os que tenho aqui soam bem. Gosto de usar o SD1 empurrando o canal de drive do 002 ou do 005, pra mim o resultado é melhor do que usar o canal vermelho sozinho. Aqui no canal eu gravo de várias formas pra mostrar pra turma como os pedais soam mas pra meu uso pessoal tenho minhas manias :) como essa do SD1 que já coloquei em vários vídeos aqui no canal czcams.com/video/cBclhVNXNIA/video.html

Este Mooer 002 não tem saída mas dá pra usar com fones de ouvido, sim. Coloque o plugue do fone no out do pedal, vai sair som só num lado do fone. Aí vc vai retirando o plugue devagar, até sair o som nos dois lados. Dá pra usar fones com vários pedais dessa maneira.

@@edvaldohenrique9786 Pode fazer sem medo que não danifica. Na pior das hipóteses o que pode acontecer é o som perder alguma coisa de subgraves ou extremo agudos por conta da diferença de impedancias entre a saída do pedal e o fone.

The cabinet simulation on the Mooer is much, much better but I just want a good preamp, Marshall JTM/JCM style as a platform for my DI board with an IR Loader. If you just wanna go direct with one of them - Mooer.

Não adiciono nada externo para que não os altere. Logo, logo farei um vídeo do 002 no return e input do amp. Vou usar um Meteoro G160 tão mal falado pela turma kk vamos ver se 002 vai deixá-lo com características do JCM900. Abss.

Amigo Lázaro... aqui neste canal não. Eu comprei esse pedal por 500,00 no Merc Livre semana passada, assim que chegou fiz esse vídeo para os amigos. Aqui são somente eu, Deus e os inscritos. Não tenho apoio de fabricante nenhum, nunca ganhei nada de graça. Faço os vídeos com meus equipamentos pessoais que uso pra trabalhar. E gravo direto na placa de som pois o nome e o tema do nosso canal é DIRECT RECORDING. Não há adição de nenhum efeito externo ou plugin nos áudios do meu canal. Mantenho sempre o timbre como sai da pedaleira ou pedal. Abss
