Hello! Does it sound good with a distortion pedal instead of a overdrive one?

Directly into audio interface so no amps, mic’d cabs etc. but just the pedal with it’s cab sim on and boosted with SD-1 👌😎.
How similar do you feel it is to the real Marshall JCM? I’m thinking on getting one. I saw your video about the mooer 011 and I bought it, it sounds brutal on a tube amp (if you like the rectifier sound) it’s astonishing
I think it’s surprisingly close but of course the real deal is always a real but Mooer has definitely done really good job with these small amplike pedals.

Had the same question... Now its solved. Your demo seems like, really near to the sound of the real deal, all you could need for a practice instead of a meltyourface tube amp. I love to use a tube screamer, into an sd-1 into the jcm. Just wanted to share my wierd taste.

Thanks! Could you send a link? My settings on this video I guess ’cos I don’t really have any ”set” settings with anything. I just use my ears to dial a tone and one day it could be totally different than on some other day 👌😎. Especially with amps or amp like pedals.

funny. since i found that sykes video you just did i'm looking around try to get that tone for cheap and i found you again. i'm just try to get back into playing again after a long time. and so much gear out there. but it seems that it's just that classic boosted marshall for me. can you get close to that tone from the sykes video with this thing or in the realm of that. i want something that can do that or like that or up to jake e lee bark at the moon, or akira takasaki thunder in the east just barking punching marshall sound. that ds does sound like the secret sauce, but i really like the mooer hustle drive, kind of has a tubey quality and as a bit less gritty boost.. so i was thinking this pedal with the hustle (OCD clone i think) as a boost. i use regualr duncan custom ceramic as my go to pickup.
Yeah it’s basically a JCM900 in a box. Obviously real amp is always a real amp and I use JCM800s but put OD in front of the Mooer and you’re definitely on the same ballpark 👌.
@@EugeValovirta230V Thanks. Yes. Now i'm thinking maybe Marshall DSL1 and just get the SD-1 and a Torpedo load box. That's getting up into price though, might as well get a used Axe Fx or something. :P Still doing research on the various little tube pedal preamp marshal clones. So undecided, heh. But man that sound in that video was the best thing i've heard in ages. I'd forgotten what real guitar supposed to sound like with all these sterile modern mixes. :D

I actually just filmed a video about Mooer's US Gold 100 pedal which is basically the Friedman BE-100 head / BE-OD pedal and will put it online in a few days :-)
But an A/B/C video of all three pedals (BE-OD, UK Gold & US Gold) would be cool to do so I'll put that on my to do - list :-)

Tilasin innoittamanasi juuri yhden :) Kysymys: tulossa keikka missä lainavahvistin. Kannattaako kytkeä suoraa vahvistimen eteen vai efektiloopiin? Vahvistimesta siis puhdas ja tällä tarkoitus ballsittaa.
No niin! 😎. Miten vaan toimii / sopii sulle parhaiten. Jos tarkoitus käyttää styrkkarin puhdasta soundia, niin silloin toki eteen, koska jos loopin paluuseen eli suoraan päätteeseen, niin silloin ohitat styrkkarin oman etuasteen.
Normitavalla jos laitat looppiin jotain muuta kuin dilsaa yms. niin soundaa ihan karseelta, koska silloin sulla vahvistimen etuaste ennen Mooeria, mikä tarkoittaa, että kaksi etuastetta peräkkäin (puhdas ja särö) ja se yhdistelmä kun menee päätteeseen, niin tulee aika karseen kuuloista jälkeä. Jos olet ikinä testannut overdrivea / säröä loopissa, niin tiedät kyllä 😁.

Itse asiassa tarkoitus ei ole käyttää puhdasta: tarkoitus saada tämä laina Fender murisemaan. Eli siis loopin returniinko olisi siis paras? Tarkoitus kytkeä siis tämä ja SD-1 kiinni.

Sitten loopin returniin eli käytät vain vahvistimen päätettä ja SD-1 luonnollisesti ennen Mooeria 😎.
