This game feels like it has so much unrealised potential. No update was ever really enough to bring me back to it
Hard agree, unfortunately
Taleworlds' work has always mystified me to the point of questioning the nature of existence itself.
I became a fan of M&B before the first game even came out. They made this totally beautiful physics based system, and given what a job they did with it, the thought was that they just needed more hands to handle the busy work and turn it into a fleshed out game.
Then commercial release of M&B came out and...it was still unfinished. Then Warband came out...wtf motion capture, no just finish the stuff that's there please. There are literally people you talk to who have a dialogue menu that leads to messages. Then many years later, Bannerlord came out...and well here we are in this comment section. As much as I love M&B, it feels like the games were made by literal(and I mean literal, not figurative) devils who only wanted to show you how great of a game they *could* have made, but they would never actually give you because nanner nanner boo boo.
The game is still stuck in 2009. No innovation. Besides the modern graphics, it's the same game.
i honestly always felt like nothing changed whenever i started it back up again
@@ItIsYouAreNotYourFINALLY someone else not blinded by the fanboy-isms
I think the most important thing for Bannerlord is having a stable version for those mod updates.
for real, espoeically since without mods, its so empty
100% there is no replay ability without mods and if they randomly decide to make mod breaking updates years later after they stop updating it’ll be horrible
And a well implemented diplomacy system
i replayed it at least 5 times before any mods and still on versions like 1,1@@dimieneyitemi1721
Yeah, honestly I've been waiting for them to slow so that the modding community can really sink their teeth into it.
Feels like the same game since it released
Yea literally no advancement on big mods only like two big mods are outt 4yrs no progress
Basically the same
Yeah the game and multiplayer feels dead but I play third campaign across 4 years since early access, and It is definitely one of my my favorite game. You have to guys understand that developing games these days is extremely expensive and hard. Game used to be developed by 10 people in 2 years, now it takes 8 years with 300 developers and way more expensive.
Tales World studio is not that big, it is small. It have just 130 employees which probably not all of them developers. Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 have just 300 developers, and the game is still little baby compared to games like GTA 6 or RD2.
Tales World studio size is also probably the reason why they chose old engine for their new game. The engine can support only 2048 entities on 1 map including horses, that is the reason why the battle size is capped at 1000. If they would have bigger budget they would choose different engine that allows more mechanics, but that means more work, more budget, more bugs, more testing, more money needed.
Mount and Blade Bonerlord feels like unfinished game, but it honestly does have lot of features and mechanics when we take a note that the studio is not big. Red Dead Redemption 2 is probably the most detailed game ever made with 1600 developers who were underpaid for their job. GTA 6 have probably like 2000-3000 developers right now and the number is rising, assuming that Rockstar have 4000 developers total.
yep unfinished
Honestly I've always kinda felt pretty disappointed in bannerlord, guess I just expected more.
for some reason warband mods still feel better than bannerlord.

Why? Warband was nothing on its own, Bannerlord is 10x better. Only reason you expected so much was because you played a ton of mods for warband that weren’t made by TW and expected features that they never brought up
@@oldylad
Bang for bang? Lol nope. Warband for its price and age solos bannerlord and it’s not even close. Maybe play more warband and you’ll understand
Once I conquered the whole map I felt no urge to come back to Bannerlord, Bannerlord has a great foundation but the potential needs to be realized
Yes that's the main difference with Warband that you want to replay again and again. Modding is also harder on Bannerlord...
the game that was. Feels so unfinished
I don't feel like any of their games ever felt finished haha.
Most games never get finished
They get so lazy because they'd rather just let modders do the work.
@@TheMoriShow The sad part is that they gave up after most of the heavy lifting was done. They just had to add more maps and options to multiplayer.
@@myview5840nowadays that’s the norm
Let's be honest. We're all just waiting for Prophecy of Pendor to release for Bannerlord. xD
Or a version of Perisno that doesn't crash lol.
Same here lol
Coop Mod will be great
we need a fantasy mod. Elfs, giants, human, undeads etc
@@WestbrickFansGotNoBrainsthere’s a warhammer mod in the works
The game needs more RPG elements, it feels empty like none of my actions even matter.
Because nothing actually matters in the game so far. Everything has set values to a certain degree so you're limited in what you're able to do when trying to manipulate the world
Fr
I left it behind a while ago. For some reason it just feels lifeless and uninteresting. Maybe because of the clan system or something. You don’t need to build relationships with individuals anymore, but with clans, and clans lack identity imo.
Also, I dislike how many features are hidden behind some quick menu. Swaying votes for a castle? Just a mouse click. In Warband you had to track down individual lords, and convince them to vote in your favor. This game just lacks personality compared to Warband which is such a shame. Only the battles are truly excellent
It's the companion system. Here, let me spell it out for you from my own perspective... My wife has 3 lines. My kids have 3 lines. My trusted men who have lived and died by my side have... 3 lines.... The lords and principalities I serve with honor and glory have... 3 lines...... Warband had interesting NPCs. They had their distinct personalities, their own likes and dislikes, their own stories? Many times I was stopped by them during my travels to hear about their youth and how certain locations reminded them of home. I thought Bannerlord would add to this but they've seemed to have completely stripped it away. You can have the best combat ever made but if the people you fight for, the ones who literally demand you swear oaths to have zero personality then it just remains barren.
@@renaldoawes2210 true, but there is more that I dislike compared to warband. Like how tournaments are always going on. In Warband they were rare and everyone had the same armour, so you really had to be careful in order to win it. When you did it felt extremely rewarding. In Bannerlord it’s just tournament hopping, from one town to another.
Or the way fiefs are assigned. In Warband you had 3 categories: villages, castles and towns. To earn a fief was hard work, and it usually started with just some villages, which was necessary income since castles only cost you money. Earning a town made you feel like a king. In Bannerlord you just get a bunch of fiefs thrown at you, because no clan is selfish enough to fight for them. And castles now contain villages, so the element of managing your fiefs economie has been simplified. In short. Nothing about this game feel rewarding
@@jeroen3618 Those are all very good points as well.
@@jeroen3618 I personally miss giving villages as fiefs. Would be neat if junior members of your clan got smaller fiefs.
14 years since warband and everything past the midgame is still a mind numbing slog
I hope that we'd get some sort of end-game. Right now, there isn't really anything to strive for, unless you want to paint the map, or artificially gimp yourself.
I mean it's a sandbox it's not really supposed to have a end goal
@@boggart159 It may not have an end-state, but it doesn't mean it shouldn't have endgame and something to achieve, should you want to. Many sandboxes have the same problem - after a point the challenge disappears and all that is left is just busywork.
@@dimitarivanovski6322 well I mean it can't be an ever expanding game your gonna reach the endpoint at one time that's why you gotta make your own goals in sandboxes
@@dimitarivanovski6322 I had both Bannerlords and Manor Lords in early access, very much different games but in a similar era.
Really hope Slavic Magic continues to tweak and update for years to come.
I haven't looked at BLMB2 for probably half a year, loved it when it was first released, I agree there needs some endgame.
Even a surprising foe who leads to one final immense battle. Your brother went rogue and isn't really dead.
Something please!
It needs diplomacy or things to make you feel like you are doing something. Like its a sandbox with 1 toy in it. Kenshi is arguably even more of a sandbox, is way more jank and yet feels way more conplete
I was so excited for this game. Indeed, I played it for about 20hrs; Not nearly as long as many with justifiably negative comments. But there wasn't enough to keep my attention. Something about it felt off.
While I'm not holding my breath, I've been waiting for Kingdoms of Arda to bring this game back to my SSD.
same i bought this game in early access hoping for mods actually much more than the real game even tho i enjoyed native warband a lot, and honestly i cant even remember when i last played this game its so crappy tho it has much potential to grow
Needs prophecy of pendor
I bought it on release in EA in 2020 and honestly I don't think much has changed, its rlly unfinished. In Warband there is a mod called Warband Gold Edition which added so much for me, sucks that modders have to do all this stuff for the devs
@@Definedd they basically carried the game, but at that time i enjoyed native warband even tho there was potential to add content but that was enough to enjoy the game, meanwhile bannerlord its like wondering in an empty mansion, you see much potential but you dont see any progress basically the game looks like still in early access, lets not tall about the pieces of equipements that doesnt match each other just to look crappt in a crappy game 😂
@@aminebouali6372 native warband still had more content and more feel like you have an impact/more immersive than bannerlord. I use a few mods for bannerlord which helps for me, Id play warband tbf but its too old/clunky for me now
What I hope for: A map expansion with more factions, settlement building, proper rpg elements.. and feasts.
TRhey first need to finish the core game, so far the game itself is bare bones
And maybe make the AI a little bit smarter, instead of just knowing how to charge and flee to defend a circle.
8:00 Bro, literally all of the "DLC" they released were all mods before they made purchasable as "DLC". The studio didn't develop these DLC, modders did.
So interesting enough they had a job listing for a new Sci fi Project then took it down quickly after xD
Fair enough.
now that's a rouge direction
I'm just waiting on a good historical overhaul mod to release.
Yeah same!!
Honestly if modders can make Coop work, theres no reason why Taleworlds cant despite what theyve stated publicly.
amen brotha
Somewhere between this game, Manor Lords, Total War and GTA lies the *perfect* game
Rdr2
So you basically want a city builder in which you can manage and develop settlements in a very detailed manner with total war elements that is battles with thousands of soldiers and various factions fighting via politics
And you also want to be able to have a general whom you can control in third person and command soldiers with on the battlefield and fight in them Aswell?
Not happening you are basically asking for the real world as a game 🤣
@@chivalry9
Its possible to do, is it likely? Probably not
@@guywiththesly3321 I mean a gamee such as that will be very huge and expensive to make
We might not even have the proper technology to have everything that I stated earlier in one game..
closest game so far is bellwright. scratches the itch that bannerlord gives you and manor lords leaves you wanting more
Modding has carried this game as of late, rp is practically impossible in base late game but modding giving it a good future
They essentially just took Warband, gave it a graphic overhaul, added a few features from popular mods and called it a day. It’s a damn shame.
This game should have been legendary. :/
250 hours on the game. Love everything but the diplomacy. Wish that whole aspect was expanded more in some way. It’s like more interactive Total War.
Diplomacy is so basic i don't know if we can call it " diplomacy"...
This game couldve been so good but instead of supporting modders they hired a bunch of art majors and release meaninless art updates every few months that ruin all the mods that actually fix the game
The community needs to stop releasing "new mods" or "from peasant to king" videos for a while. Not having proper updates with new features is very worrying after four years. Something is wrong with this studio and we have to be more vocal about it.
Well the common copium is that they are a Turkish studio and there was some national issues impacting routines

@@slctd_chrctr it’s not my fault you are uneducated lmao.
I played 500+ hours on warband, waited yearsss for bannerlord. But it was boring. Only 70 hours in...
Building castles was a feature TW themselve announced back in the age of big waiting, they canceled it like many other features quietly.
I would love to have the 30 years war from 1618 to 1648 in M&B 2, not again in eastern europe like Fire & Sword but this time in the center of the holy roman empire, this time was so brutal and shifting that it would be a great addition.
Bannerlord is definitely not content complete so many systems that they were supposed to have and the warehouse and business systems still aren't complete a mod fixed that but TW should finish that themselves so the mod isn't required the feature is already in the game they just never bothered to finish it and I'd rather them release a map expansion remember that huge ass map and how were only using less than a quarter of it with more gameplay features with maybe native ship battle and more factions
When are they going to add personalities to the NPCs and followers? My own children feel like husks LOL
I wanted to love it so bad but its another skyrim: wide as an ocean deep as a puddle.
some one/company needs to buy this game and unleash the real potential of this game
i love bannerlord.. please merciful god i pray they are still fken workin on it
The castle sieges were not only the best part of this game, but probably some of the most underrated gameplay
I can see that, I said a year ago they are working on a DLC or new game. Only way to explain slower updates but the company is hiring more people
I just want a mod or DLC with a fully fleshed out map of the medieval world around 1000 to 1300 that is stable -- that is it.
Great game i have over 1k hours and have barely dipped into mods. Lovenyour content man keep it up.
Honestly, I just want the map extended beyond what is already there. We already know that the actual game map in the game files is absolutely massive. Its like 50 times the size of the playable area. There are texture files and asset files for stuff like the Japanese, Chinese and Indian inspired nations. I don't know if this was scrapped content due to budget constraints or time, but the fact that they still exist and weren't removed is possibly an indicator that they had grander ambitions for Bannerlord. Whether those ambitions are realised is another thing entirely, though...
I love this game. I especially love the companion only challenge without using the companion limit increase mods. Out manoeuvring armies with only like 30 dudes is extremely fulfilling...
This game has so much potential
Bannerlord just feels unfinished, raw but it has a huge amount of potential.
Played the game for 1300h, after some time ir gets repetitive, but i love the game and it is one of my all time favs
I loved the Franchise. Been playing since MnB. I dont know if anyone else can relate to this, but Bannerlord to me felt like when Rome Total War 2 came out. Yea it was still the same game at its core, but it just felt different. It was also more complex than fun, and I kind of got the same feeling when playing BL singleplayer. Multiplayer was great but JUST LIKE WARBAND (Taleworlds never learned their lesson) they never continued to add to it. At least on PC theres mods, but BL on the xbox was pitiful, even after its launch it was still very hard to find full games. There was no new content, new maps, new anything. I havent even beaten BL yet. Ill always look back fondly on WB, but BL is just one of those games man... I hope TW just does something new.
I think we have at least one more major update before DLC that will do something (anything) with the quest line and give a “final” stable release for modders
The community Manager on the forums said that they are "cooking" something. I'll temper my expectations but hope that they surprise us.
Really? Lets hope for the best.
Yeah, they'll surprise us with big fat nothing.
It also makes me so happy that the biggest M&B Creators right now are kinda bashing the game finally. Hopefully it puts pressure on the devs to actually be more communicative to the community, IN A FORMAT THAT IS EASILY TO FIND. And faster updates, and updates that actually fix stuff besides the (this is a fact and you KNOW ITTTTT) thge stupid fucking console patches that no one fucking cares or asks for... Ever since the game went to console, it honestly went down hill...
TW staff and moderators have been dumbass, we the community and modders warned them on many things on the TW forums, they were listening nothing of the good advices and were just threatening of bans when you critic the game too much and it was in 2016. At this period some veteran modders started to have very bad feeling about Bannerlord and they were right.
Napoleonic DLC in the works hopefully
Any idea what the 1.3.0 Patch will be about?
Has it really been 4 years!!!!!! DAMN!!
If they added mods, EVEN if they’re simple and minimal it would just add that little touch to bring me back. Or just some new armours and weapons
10:03 If you are wonder where is their office, they are renting that parking lot at the top-left corner near the crane. At least it's under the roof, and that's all that matters😁
The devs are working on at least 1 more big update, this has been confirmed in the community updates
I feel like its done pretty good compared to native, it was the mods that really bring the expansion to the base game and hopefully the mods can start coming out soon.
Im just waiting for the massive mods to finish at this point
i still havent really gave the game a good try just because i dont have F keys on my keyboard lmao, how am i gonna bind all those troop commands?
I think they should add more bandits to Vanilla Bannerlord
Me just waiting for the Shokuho mod
Just when I thought I forgotten about this game
As a console player I have been having fun with vanilla, but I hope they add mods for us.
Fingers cross they're making the warband version of this game
after playing bannerlord for so long the gameplay loop definitely feels stale. bannerlord feels like an empty template left to the modders to create their own game (yet they can't even do that right as they set modders back months after every small update)
Did any of you remember that elephant dlc leak, or that expanded map. I was always hoping that that was going to be next after the full release, where we might get some more Asian African and potentially American factions to join Calradia.
I think people just over hype things up. I come back once a year when the urge comes, load up a Banner-lord campaign with some Mods I wanna try. Play through an entire campaign for about 100 hours. Then shelf it for the next urge. I think I have about 800 hours played. To me thats a good game. No game is infinite. Bannerlord was everything I wanted and I'm ready to start wondering what Bannerlord 3 will be. Maybe we will keep heading back into time and see the Calradian Empire at its height.
I'm enjoying playing it again with Dramalord.
I just want mod support on console. Other games have done it. VR has done it with a studio less than a sixth of the size in blade and sorcery onto a tiny console like an oculus. Taleworlds can definitely do it.
I already written it under one comment and I would like to comment it here maybe someone will notice. Even tho the game is one of my favorite games, I also feel that it is unfinished.
But you have to guys understand one thing:

I really hope there working on diplomacy
Yea diplomacy and rp cuz after you conquer everything theres nothing much to do

You can't do that in Warband.

Huh??
the game is only breathing because of the awesome modders, taleworlds really drop the ball here. no major updates for so long. ffs.
i cant wait for shokuho
Does anyone know of a mod that increases A.I. combat skill? I'm not talking about ALL enemy being able to block your attacks and feint directional attacks but having a variety in skill of enemy soldiers would be nice. Back in the Warband days there was a Champion NPC in some servers that would probably block 95% of your attacks. Anything like this?
Devs should partner with KINGS AND GENERALS to get history buffs all in
Plevne savunması gibi tahkimat yapma gibi bir şeyse harbi kral adamsın derim
As games get more complex development tends to get *slower* not quicker. We shouldn't expect the same cadence of new content as we had with Warband which is unfortunate. Also adding more people to the team could mitigate this, but it could also backfire and make things worse and slower still. But yeah, Bannerlord looks like a HUGE unrealised potential sort of situation, I hope they're cooking something, but to be honest, since release I don't expect much.
Need a new version of the old Brytenwalda mod.
I have over 1500 hours in Warband and less than 100 in bannerlord
it just doesn't have that "magic" that warband had for me
and honestly I'm waiting for the big mods to become more fully

Guys does bannerlord have what warband had with the onlone sieges with mods like game of thrones or lord of the rings? Cause i played o lot of that in warband but in bannerlord i dont find it
I've been waiting for Lotr mod or Star wars old Republic mod
This game needs more diplomacy options. Alliances, non-aggression pacts, defensive alliances etc. The endgame is just repetitive ad nauseum.
I'm having a romping time with the Old Realms. The magic system is marvelous, excited for the coming elves expansion.
7:48 that's what she said
The AI strategic decisions are shocking on this game. Diplomacy options also need to be improved. Thats my only real cons for this game
It was a cash grab worth £5, much like Manor Lords. Earn a multi milly and give the release day muppets the middle finger. Spin on it and smile.
That Manor Lords game is horrendous. They made it sound like you'd be able to move onto building large kingdoms, maybe even castles. It's nothing but a "small town leader wants to make a name for himself" game. What a nothing burger.
Played through it 3 times since release now im on my 4th playthrough and its barely different than how it was. Im not saying its a bad game, but I expected more, if that makes sense. Such wasted potential :(
I mean, that's not true, it's just not that easy to see.
The battlefields look stunning and there are so many different combat maps around, reflecting the geography of the map. Wasn't always that way.
Remember when a kingdom captured 2-3 towns and just started snowballing through the game?
Perks make sense now for the most part.
Smithing is MOSTLY balanced now. You can still earn a lot, but the cleaver that still gives u like 13k used to give almost 100.
There are like three times the amount of quests than there used to.
The game is mostly bug free, ocasionally a corpse gets thrown around a bit, but thats it.
Combat works now, it used to be so clunky.
AI doesn't just do F1F3 anymore.
There is a lot of potential still, but all sandbox games have that. Always keep in mind: Minecraft is worse now than it used to be because they added TOO MUCH stuff.
Some things i wish for are: immersed banditry playthrough. Long term questlines, the "unite/defeat the empire" alone just doesn't do the trick. Make minor factions interesting. Smithing of unique armor and horse breeding. Early game jobs in third person resembling persistent world (harvesting crops for cash, cooking, going to the smithy with carts and smithing things etc), and diplomacy between kingdoms (right now the only diplomacy is declare war, make peace and pay tribute. Make it like total war)

For one, what you are talking about is nice, and I of course acknowledge that, but at the same time, these updates took years to implement.
Now let me ask you to answer these questions in yourself:
How many years ago did bannerlord come out into early access?
What they added since then?
Did the time they took to develop, and implement said changes were proportionate to the content?
How many critically acclaimed games were made during that timeframe?
How many games generally were made during that timeframe?
@@Sabolch919 I can only compare to the two other games i play from time to time, dota2 and sc2. From time to time i get back to aoe 4 multiplayer. The others bring out a balance patch from time to time, which are mostly just tweaks in numbers. Aoe releases a new faction occasionally, but those are mostly just tweaks in numbers to already existing factions anyway. Add a few graphics and a faction is made. Maybe game developement slows down in general after a game is good and stable?
And to be fair, they probably aren't making that much money of bannerlord anymore, that's the economy our ancestors chose for us. Sure, they could create some dlcs, but they can also leave the rest to modders
All I wish for is a mod that brings back the old Troop Grouping system so I can finally play again :(
I just want the modding scene to be alive!!!
They need to expand the multiplayer, also improve the single player buying and injecting into the base game several important mods like around 20-30 at least.
And regarding multiplayer they can have clan hosting big numbers of people not just a dozen of people (ridicolous) and also have a in game currency that pays players that honor or other stuff other cool realistic mechanics for those that in a clan distinguish themselves etc.. It's very fun and also MP needs to be better server better coded net coded etc.,
I think they might have just disappeared to let the modders do the rest. Warband native was very barbones too.
I see nobody else saying this, but it’s so true. Native warband actually had a negative amount of features. They understand that most of the features that people want are being created by modders. Do give people a stable version with core features, and let them do the rest. I don’t understand why people expect Bannerlord to be this crazy deep, complex game. Native has never been that way.
i wish we get naval battle, make port city useful XD
I think this game will get better with time, but I quite like it
6:00 In, Content Complete My Ass.
They could go so much further they're just being lazy and letting Modders do EXACTLY what they did for Warband. Instead of keeping content coming out, like expanding what the Mod Tools can do. How far they can go they're taking the easy road.
They also could Overhaul ALOT of Systems, Mechanics, Etc now that its been this long and ensure gameplay for years to come.
I dont think a lot of people remember the WAIT anymore since its been released. But I Remember!!!! A goddamn DECADE! 10 YEARS!!!!
Thats how long I waited for Bannerlord and I can barely say its even a Copy/paste of Warband cause they took out a lot that made Warband as good as it was. And replaced it with crap.
They should transfer all systems, mechanics, and features from Warband to Bannerlord. Then, they need to keep expanding. Like for instance:
Allow forging of Armor. Allow us to Manage, Expand, or Upgrade our Fiefs large and small. And let us actually SEE those changes.
They should input OFFICIAL Naval Gameplay and Trading. Allow us to have Fleets of Warships, and Trade Fleets. In places and ways that makes Sense.
They should also Expand on Politics on every level. Whether it be between a Peasant and King, or a Vassal to a Lord, or a King to a King. Allow Deals to be made between each. Allow Clans to plan "Intrigues" or "Schemes" with each other, or other Kingdoms.
Make it so Raiding a GODDAMN caravan has an Impact on the Economy, or that Band of villagers traveling to the City getting robbed of much needed Supplies for both Village and City!
I did not wait a DECADE for half ass baked shit. I waited because my Expectations, which may be slightly unreasonable to some, WERE PUT IN PLACE BECAUSE I SAW THE POTENTIAL! And so far, TaleWorlds has betrayed and let down almost more than Half. Making all that Time feel wasted and worthless. Just like their game.
HEART OR LIKE IF YOU AGREE AND THINK TALEWORLDS OWES US MORE THAN WHAT THEY'VE GIVEN!
Same with warband they never really updated that either
scam company
I regret buying this game. And I was waiting for it almost for a decade
You could control your ship in Viking conquest?? Idk what you’re on about
They need to find a way for mods to come to console
I’m buying M&B series for mods. Once you consider Bannerlord as another gaming console, you won’t disappoint about slow release XD
All I want is a coop mode… then it will be the best game lol.
its more a medeival combat simulator with light management elements, "diplomacy" and trade
It's still in state of techdemo
Whatever that studio has to roll out, I'm not buying it
Taleworlds had no good reason to abandon Bannerlord the way they have. They had support, resources, and all the time in the world. From where I'm standing it seems like they simply lacked focus and passion.
They took the money and ran. Between this, KSP2, and Sons of the Forest I'm pretty much burned on "Bigger and better" sequels
we need a fantasy mod. Elfs, giants, human, undeads etc
this game has too much potential
So basically the "Old Realms" mod?
@@RazorbackX99 doesn't have to be. can be entirely new world. they already lay the blueprint for a great game, just need a little fix with the campaign.
Still a cool game even after many years
Cool game back in 2009.
I dont think anyone is negating that it is a good game: they’re disappointed that in 4 years and years of development with a $40 price tag it really isnt worth it anymore
We need character that are somewhat rememberable, right now npc's are about as dull as can be. None have custom text, and most option when talking to npc are 99.9% generic. Graphics are great but who cares for the millionth armor when the total amount of quests/story is like what 5?
