As someone who player The Settlers 2, I would say it's much more like that than it's similar to Age of Empires.

This game should show developers that there is a really large gap in the market for a really good pirate game, fantasy or otherwise that isn't being filled by a conpetent developer. I hope someone can step up to the plate.

Meh doesn't look that good

This title looks "set apart" enough imo, it is a settlers "clone" if you want to call it that. The newest release of Settlers was an absolute dumpster fire. This title looks better to me then settlers of pagonia, tickles a very different itch to manor lords and has a great setting. This game is actually exciting me a lot rn. Just wishlisted and hope it'll be as good as it looks in the video.

It kind of reminds me of Grand Ages Rome. It was a fun game, a nice city sim with a hint of strategy

Be careful with the "Who actually have passion to make games". The creators of the games from AAA titles DO care. They ARE passionate. Their hands are just tied, beyond the ability to actually make a good game, and its a shame. The people who make the games aren't the issue, and they need more credit. It's the corporate greed from the publishers that is the issue.

Looks like a straight copy paste of Settlers.

They literally could’ve just made a photorealistic Sea Of Thieves, but Ubisoft is gonna be Ubisoft and had too many chefs in the kitchen, setting unreachable expectations for themselves because they think “more more more” but never refine what they’ve already built.

Its unfortunate that the grind is extremely slow, demon horde used to be very profitable at launch ; almost 10k gold and exp for a complete match at difficulty 1. not anymore. I would like for the game on pc to have the same treatment it has on console, permanent x2 reward, that way new players can have the gear they want without sweating in pvp. otherwise once you learn how to play the gamemode its a very fun no thinking slasher mode

2:07 is there a way to stop the 'Bucking' when using the grind stone.. i mean is it the angle maybe or just something random that happens?

I'm gonna check this game out or at least the development ! Also love this time period and I played a similar game when I was a child... Who remembers Imperium Romanum? If they bring a good ambience and music + a decent combat system, im totally in!

I know everyone was looking forward to the next assassin's creed game. But it came out a lot more like Sid Meier's "Pirates!". It was a next gen version of "Pirates!" and that's exactly what I wanted! Open world, do what you want, set entirely on the ship except for cutscenes. Focused on upgrading your ship, doing side missions, hunting treasure. Except it never came out on Steam so I never bought it.

Men of war 2 are trash with online all the time, even play campaign single player unable to login server or when in middle playing campaign suddenly error connection, just not recomend at all dont buy this game

Man if this continues and pvp is a thing and this server is like up all the time like a rust server or something soon all the factions will be gone all taken by players the map will be constantly at war with players constantly fighting for land. This is gonna be sooo awesome if it meet up to player standards.

$60 is by far too much for what skull and bones is, but I have to admit Ive really enjoyed it. I will contextualize by saying I am super into tall ships and pirate stuff so I can have fun with its limited content. Hopefully it goes the way of Sea of Thieves and turn it into what it promises to be with a brand of a “AAAA Game” Also got it for $30 on sale

I liked this game but not enough to buy it. If this was 20-30 bucks I'd probably buy it or I'll just wait until its on game pass. What they need to make is something like this but singleplayer and without crazy parkour assassin shit. Black Flag was good but I want a pure offline pirates game kinda like Sid Meier's Pirates with graphics like Black Flag or Skull and Bones.

I'm in a constant loop of "im too low level and so poor and this sucks" and "im a multi milionair and my troops are spartan immortals this sucks" I'm either fighting for my life in forest archer hideouts and barely making it through arenas to gear up or auto resolving with a horde of fians or khansguard
