If you made a video of it where can I find the link I got a template for 1 million dollar bill and would like to know how to add the shape channel in so I can do it on the million dollar bill. i did your tutorial and it worked great but now i’m trying take it a step further and create burn marks thru the dollar bill but when i go to create the “hole” with the lasso tool then try to hide selection thru layer mask it won’t let me, any advice ?

When you're finished with your paper money image, use the crop tool to crop it to the width and height of the actual dimensions of paper money . Make its resolution 300 ppi.
It's illegal for someone to print money in the USA (other than the US Mint), however, this tutorial shows how to replicate a basic steel engraving look to a subject and apply it to faux money.
If you are not see "sketch" in filter you need to do: Preferences/ Plug ins / (sellect the box) Show all filter gallery groups and names.

Another way is to go to Filter and Filter Gallery. Then, go to Filter, Sketch, Halftone Pattern.
