I’m a trauma therapist and I am only halfway through this and am very disturbed. It says a lot that they have never even been able to talk about the wedding without fighting. The groom wishes he could marry his MIL.
I don't believe that. I think MIL is a predator and he was a needy young person when he first met her. Their relationship is very unhealthy and it will spill into his marriage.

I think Esi knows exactly what she wants and she can stand up for it.
