If Chelsea play midfield 3 then yes, he's good but we still need Caicedo for the CDM position. He's not solid enough to cover Enzo who already lacks defensive capabilities.

While Caceido seem to be a better ball winner, Lavia is more of a complete midfielder. Lavia's creativity in the midfield gives him an edge over Caceido. Both players are pacy and intelligent. For me, i feel Lavia is a better option in the midfield when compared to Caceido.

In 4-3-3 formation, Lavia, Caceido and Enzo can perfectly feature in the 3 midfield role, but in a 4-4-2 formation, only one of Caceido or Lavia can feature because there will be need for wingers like Chukwuemeka, Sterling, etc.
