I am so glad to find these videos of Carter and her family and to know they are still entertaining and sharing their story's of the years with Waylon and Jessie. I'm probably the only person on the planet that did not know Carter Robertson was the name of the wonderful back up singer for Waylon. I always enjoyed her singing as well her vivacious personality, just did not know her name and I have wondered where she went after his passing away so it's a real treat to find Carter and her family as a group. I will be. looking for more of their shows and subscribing to the channel. Thank you, Ms.Lou

A long time ago, Waylon let me tag along, and I ended up in Bobby Bare's Nashville office opposite The Burger Boy. This song was finished there. Waylon was 'well up. and Shaver was trying to keep up. I let my cassette recorder run and so the song was saved. I remember Billy Joe coming up with 'common labour;' shoes to make the line work. Memories, they can't be boughten!
