I have had the phone 2 for 3 weeks now 12gb/512gb model. The battery is awesome, OS is super smooth, had 2 OTA updates so far, both improving camera performance. So far I'm super happy with it 😁

Do the animations ever lag?
And does it get hot while gaming?
I'm thinking of buying one
@@aidnooo no the animations never lag I used iqoo phone before and the difference I'm seeing is huge
@@aidnoooPlayed PUBG on HDR Extreme. Fixed 60fps. I haven't seen any animation lags so far. Very well optimised. There were some issues with the sound driver which have been fixed in the new updates. Haptics have improved. I don't use the camera that much so can't comment on camera improvements but their software support is very encouraging.

Just replace my fold z4 with the nothing 2 12gb 512go , surprisingly happy with this device, if u don't look for the specs , it is quick, smooth and a crazy battery life , i find it better than the fold z4 and the iPhone 14pro max , unbelievable

I've had this phone for 12 days now and am surprisingly pleased with it. It has great battery life, good signal strength, great overall performance, and a cool look with its design.
So far, I'm quite happy with it overall. But only time and more usage will tell how it holds up. Really hope Nothing will provide decent support as time goes on.
Is instagram story performance good?

Definitely Nothing will provide much better support than others in the market. As seen on the Phone (1).

I'm using this phone from past 7 days I can say it's very nice phone. Battery life sot 7 to 8 hrs in my use

100% the glyph system is a gimmick. But I love it. I dont miss messages from the missus as a result.
On day 9 of using mine. Switched from the Z Fold 3 (another "gimmick" device), baytery life has been fantastic vs that. The screen is better to type on and easier to see in daylight than the Z Fold 3.
Nothing os 2.0.2 just landed and claimed camera improvements.
Hi how do you find the cameras compare between the Z fold 3 and the Nothing 2? Also did you have any issues with 5g reception of the Z fold3, not sure if it's carrier or phone but mine isn't great when indoors?
I have a Z fold 3 and am now looking at options, I like the form factor of the fold but it's compromised, awful battery life and the new Z fold 5 is silly money despite the performance gains. Trying to decide between the Nothing 2 and Pixel 7 pro at the moment but the 8 pro is not too far away.
@@bat33.12 the camera is fine. The Fold 3 is a better image but the N2 does a fine enough job. Night shot works well too. If it's camera you're after then go with the pixel.
5G has been great on it. Better than the Fold 3.

That defeats the who transparent back design though
Main thing is nothing os it's very nice . I know price are very high in lower price we get same or better hardware but sometimes software and user experience is much more important.

my nothing phone 1 was much more comfortable to hold than my firends iphone 13pro, the sides felt much softer
and now my new nothing phone 2 is more comfortable than that to because of the curved glass

The glyphs are just part of the aesthetic. It is a gimmick. So what? It’s cool.
I would buy the Nothing Phone 2 and pay more for a better camera.
Cool phone just have issues with the name of it. I think would been better to call it Glyph Phone.
NETFLIX will not allow for in-app HDR10+ steaming unless the device manufacturer pre-installs the app and makes it non-removable.
And they require a licensing fee which increases the costs. Consider Nothing's primary market is outside US. Spending extra for a Netflix HDR license doesn't make too much sense.
1080p display so no need for 4k in netflix, im sure in a update hdr will be enabled
That first question was honestly the dumbest one.
That is honestly the most common question about the phone. The glyph interface apparently attacks a lot of people personally.
@@JessePinkman-uf9zh No one said here that the question is uncommon. But the questioner actually asked how the glyph lights affected the screen, battery and such. That's a low IQ question. Its like asking how Bluetooth is responsible for child birth. Illogical and incoherent.

Transferring your stuff from an iPhone to most android phones is a 'mare...
I have mine for just about a week now. Its really great, I'm not too fuss about it having to be perfect but the only issue that I'm annoyed is that the audio while gaming is still low. They somewhat fixed it in the 2.0.2 update but its only when watching videos or listening to music. When gaming, if the volume is set below 60% you can barely hear it.
Has this been fixed yet?
@@julianwilliams3312 with the 2.0.2a update, the current volume for medias has been balanced. Before this at 100% it was very loud to the point where the speakers were crackling. As for the gaming side, there is not much noticeable improvement.

I ordered one last week, received it and return it 3 days later.

There is flex at the back panel if you press it a little. Try it and you will love it to know that it's cheaply built. It has 1080p screen and not 2k screen. One of the over hyped sh** from a disco light brand.
Can't be any cheaper feeling than a Google Pixel
This phone is really expensive in Canada.
