- In this video I discuss the CZ scorpion EVO 3 S1 and what I like v dislike about this firearm.
This review discusses attachments and upgrades that are vital to the Scorpion. I go over the optic i use, The Holoson 403B, The Magpul Grip and foregrip, The SB tactical folding stock, Magpul magazines and the most important upgrade the gearhead works Safety.
Everyone knows the scorpion bite and the gearhead works safety completely eliminates it. The SB tactical folding brace also makes for a great backpack gun

For sure... pistol brace, grip, shorter right side safety lever(or mod) and red dot as a minimum. I like the HBI trigger springs and a little polishing to smooth out the trigger as well. Great video 👍
Love my EVO S2. First thing I did to mine, since mine came with the SB tactical brace, was get a safety delete for the right side, HB theta trigger, HB trigger spring kit, and a 32 round magpul mags. The HB trigger springs and trigger shoe is ok if your on a budget but if you can afford it, pick up a Timney Trigger for the EVO. It takes your 9lb stock, 5-6lb Pull after HB spring install, down to a 2 3/4-3 3/4 pound pull. It replaces the whole trigger pack so install is easy as can be and takes an amazing PCC even better with that trigger upgrade. Best thing I did to my EVO s2 micro was the Timney trigger and getting a reflex style optic on it, went with the holosun 510c
Nice video. You absolutely fire with the stock closed. I have a little over 100 rounds with the stock closed and with no issues. This was in 2 separate range visits.
I just filed my right hand side safety down about a quarter inch. Works great and it’s free to do. Just need a file or dremal. Love my CZ
Purchased one for my wife and she loves it. First time out of the box and she was able to group within a palm of the hand 🤚. Very accurate and easy to handle
Thats Awesome! They do make a good out of the box gun and it can be great with a few upgrades! a lot of people use them as truck guns

Instead of cowitnessing you should just throw a hollowed base 1” riser on the holo so you can use the refit or irons whenever you want
looks just like my setup but i have a laser/flashlght combo on left side rail.the only isue is getting 9mm ammo to shoot with without spending $35 a box of 20
Great review, just add the trigger spring kit . I believe you sold me on the Holosun . Been trying to make up my mind.
Since this vid it has a few more items like new light, rail and trigger spring! And yes I’m glad. Holosun is excellent product to value ratio
and I changed out the grip to an apex tactical grip as well as the safety. I can't get the red dot with the 1" riser to sight in. However, when I take the riser off, I'm dead on at 15 yds.
Yeah I found the dot with the rider just didn’t have the adjustment needed

Very informative video. Is the foregrip on your CZ Scorpion the Magpul AFG or the Magpul AFG-2 foregrip? Both of them look very similar.
That a AFG-2, the afg-1 has a bits of material on the sides.

I too like Holosun optics, what mount did you use for low profile mount, all of them come with elevated mounts.
This 403b had the low and high mount included with it. I believe they still give you both options in the package
I hate to love Holosun optics, but when I can spend $350 on a 509-T that is just as rugged, and has better battery life than the optic that inspired it . Well guess which one I chose to put on my APC9-SD (when it arrives)? I currently run 508-Ts on my Scorpion and Vector. Love the circle dot.

Thanks! And it was a mix of suppliers. It really was difficult to source due to the situation we are in right now. Pretty much cruised a bunch of websites and whenever it was in stock I sent it
Have you ever measured the exact Sight Height over Bore with the irons and that Holosun with that low mount? I've searched online and no one has an answer for the exact Sight Height over Bore of the scorpion with or without optics...

anthony morales mine did. I believe they all do. However, the new ones have magpul sights not the Metal CZ sights. Also, some people buy used and they are missing backup sights and some people take them off.
How long is the pistol brace from where it attaches to the end?

Nope still a pistol! It turns to an sbr when you add a stock and or a vertical foregrip

Why a brace as opposed to a real stock?
A whole bunch of reasons. 1. Tax stamp, 2. Extra $200. 3. This is a pistol. 4. Allows it to be loaded in vehicle. 5. Transport across state lines
@@KanatiOutdoors ok, you must be from the US, no tax stamp our side, no issues with going across Provincial borders, no problem with fitting it anywhere in my vehicle, rather have a decent short barrel carbine and auto-pistol.
The factory grip is atrocious. I really like my Scorpion, but it’s not really a good gun out of the box. A couple of other necessary upgrades I’d recommend are the HBI trigger springs, the HBI extended mag release, and a extended charging handle. Though honestly for all the extra time and money you have to invest in the Scorpion. You’d may as well get a B&T GHM-9.
I agree with you but I believe the add ins are cheap enough and the result makes one of the best PCC guns on the market
Imo it doesn't feel anything like a toy and is kind of heavy to have all that plastic.
The weight is good. Just all the plastic makes it feel “different”
The iron's are trash really everything else is amazing and yeah i own the CZ scorpion evo.
Did you get the CZ metal ones or the magpul polymer ones?
@@KanatiOutdoors the default cz irons with corrugated surface to prevent glare... i don't do those crap sights. im old fashioned. irons you'd find on ww2 era gun's. I swear these new sights are to prevent good aim like a government made trash sight to make it easier to fight back the population when they become tyrannical and we rebel. Just saying lol

The iron sights are not a mod, as they come with them when you buy it…
Yes I do apologize for the terminology and I do correct myself In the video. Technically speaking I never refer to the brace mounted on the specific gun as a stock but still should not be mentioned. As far as the iron sights I do mention they come with the firearm.
Why buy this crap - get another one
