Actually the first point about language acquisition I already tasted for my English! I'm Italian, and I learned it since I was a kid, 7 years old, I always watched Disney Channel, and my huge inspiration was Miley Cyrus, so yeah she was my English Teacher! Exactly because I loved her so much I've started watching her videos on CZcams that was just in English so I've practiced my listening because of her. It's been a long time now I'm still learning English, however when I'm learning it it's just through social medias so about reading.

There are advantages and disadvantages to this method, as in any other method. Variation is always necessary no matter what the subject is.

How did you find out about TPR?
And were you exposed to TPR (Total Physical Response)? Or TPRS (Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling)?
They are quite different, though originally Blaine Ray used TPR (Total Physical Response) to teach almost 30 years ago and then started telling stories with TPR. So at first TPRS meant, Total Physical Response Storytelling, but as it developed over the years it moved further away from TPR, so the acronym was changed to Teaching Proficiency through Reading and Storytelling. Both methods at GREAT and contribute to language acquisition. Unfortunately, the similarity in acronyms while honoring the history of the new TPRS 2.0 (as of this past year 2020), can lead to confusion about the method.

Hey there Nathan: I was a medic in the Army and before that I worked in hospitals where I wrote the letters:
      T. P. R. thousands of times. Temperature 98.6, Pulse, 80 beats in a minute and Respiration, 20 times in a minute ❤
Thanks for your videos. Now sub’d! 😮

I think the si' and ooooh is to get you involved/staying alert. At least that is how I feel when I do it. Anyway, I want to learn as a child does ... with excitement and fun. :)

Yes, there must be some reason for the exaggeration… It can be that you learn to respond with an answer no matter what. Giving up is not a option ❤
