It’s people like him that ruined the camera. Prices for it have been skyrocketed. A used one like this should be no more than $120-$180 depending on the condition. Back in 2018, I got a used one for only $130, slight scratches on the lcd only.

I saw a 2002 era Panasonic 4MP camera, no charger no battery no card, no case, used as is (decent condition with strap) for $40.
Yesterday a Nikon Coolpix s5000 in museum condition no card no battery but has charger and strap, $55.
I have only found used Sony camera accessories (for $30) but never a camera of any model.
If did find anything close to this it's usually Canon for $70-75+
