Many great European basketball players have made the jump to the NBA. But not many NBA stars have done the equivalent and played in Europe after playing solely for NBA teams. This is the recap of Top 10 NBA stars who for one reason or another stepped on the European courts.

Roy Tarpley RIP (Dallas) had huge career in Europe (Aris-Olympiakos), Byron Scott, Scot Skyles and Last but not least Eddie Johnson...fast Eddie - 1 year 1994-1995 Olympiakos instant Success he event went back to NBA in his top shape (his words) and helped rockets play WCF
P. J. Tucker for sure man, champ and MVP in Germany and Isarel as well as NBA champ, he is a star.
Byron Scott (1 season panathinaikos Greece), John Salley (7 games panathinaikos Greece), Josh Childress (2 seasons olympiacos Greece), Trajan Langdon (CSKA Moscow and more teams in Europe), Greg Monroe (Bayern Munich Germany), Scott Skyles (1 season PAOK Greece), Roy Tarplay (3 seasons in Greece and 1 in Cyprus)

Micheal "Sugar" Ray Richardson played for Virtus Bologna 1988-1991
Alex English played in Naples. Michael Cooper played in Rome.
Bill Laimbeer had also one year in Italy after college. Kurt Rambis, à key Lakers défensive player, won his first title in Greece in Aek.
Spud Webb also played in Verona
Danny Green played for Olimpija in 2011/12 season
missing Tom Chambers from the list ,Played in maccabi in 95-96. had over 20K points in the NBA + All star MVP .

Bill Bradley played and won during his PRIME in for a year in Italy before his NBA career
Adrian Dantley ( I don't remember the team) and Alex English ( Napoli Baket) played in Italy for a short time , Kenny "Sky" Walker also played in Italy. Artis Gilmore played for Fortitudo Bologna
Kenny Walker played mostly in Spain...
Mario Chalmers played here in Italy, same as Ron Artest and Pete Chilcutt... All of them were NBA champions.
But they weren’t stars.

Dominique was very succesful and its by far the best player ever played in europe, after the first europian panathinaikos took with him we created a dynasty and won 5 more. He played a normal season not clown for money games. Thats for the fans to know the truth

Thurl Bailey, played for the Jazz, played in Europe, then came back and finished with the Jazz. I believe he was pretty good in Europe. I went to college with Lou Roe, he got drafted in NBA, but soon went to Span and played for over 10 years.

The list does not make any sense, without any criteria mixing exhibition matches with unknown teams and players who have really competed in Europe like McAdoo or Dominique.
