I think one thing to mention about this episode is that Nagi was genuinely asking and not just trying to be rude or anything. As a person who dislikes any form of struggle he’s failing to understand why they would try so hard when their chance of winning is close to zero

When i watched that I was really unimpressed with chigiris time. I mean 50 meters in 5.77 sec? That would probably be around 11.3 sec for 100 meters which for a 16 year old would put him 1.3 secs behind the record. But on the other hand he only plays football and not track and field and that makes him really quick compared to other footballers.
