What Bachira did was insanely difficult, not just the techniques themselves but to do it in a game with such high stakes is just nuts. Also, to answer your question about why he didn't do that sooner - it's not like he couldn't but as he said himself, in that moment he was feeling super inspired and just tried some new moves that happened to work. In other circumstances, it wouldn't be wise to try and dribble through an entire team by yourself - but in this case, all of the factors were perfect for him to pull that off and by doing so he lifted the entire team's spirit.

Yellow is usually for inappropriate behavior or risky plays. It's common to put your arms out in football, so "hitting his opponents while trying to keep the ball" might be a risky non-malicious action which results in a card. You can also get a yellow for stripping (ie taking off your shirt after a goal). Red is reserved for straight up malicious tackles and disrespectful behavior like spitting or starting a fight. It all goes to the ref's discretion, and I noticed that BL's VAR system is really lenient lmao 😂
every tricks they showed in this anime until now is actually already done by soccer player in real game, you can check many videos on yt like Wayne Rooney bicycle kick or Zlatan bicycle kick he is even doing in almost half of the field very iconic.
About the difficulty of some of the tricks
Roulette: fairly easy, as long as you've got ok coordination in your feet and don't fall to the ground when doing something other than walking.
Rainbow flick: much easier than it looks tbh. Either that or it's really easy for me.
Elastica: yeah let's not talk about this one... It's really hard to pull off, and much harder in the air to the point that I don't think even Ronaldinho would ever think of doing that in a real match, let alone a japanese child.
What is funny is that in the world cup(argentinia - france) argentinia was leading 2-0 until like 70min when france makes two goals in 2 minutes😂 so the show is not even exagerating with the goals and plot twist. It happens all the time in football.
The Overhead kick is a gol not seen much this days due to the changes in defensive positions, but the Mexican player Hugo Sanchez scored 12 goals like that playing with Real Madrid.

The foul by reo is definitely a red card in foodball but for the story I think ego just influence the VAR decision for them to evolve the game by keep the good players on the field

You can also get a straight red card. This means ejection, and your team plays a man down for the remainder of the game.

I can tell you that there are goals like this and even more crazier in reality..
Its ultimately the referees decision on giving a card to a player or not for their foul. No card is usually a foul that was accidental or not bad enough for a card, but if they do multiple of those fouls, they might get a yellow. Of course every foul is a warning to the player who committed it, but a yellows gives the player a warning that if they keep up with the fouls they could get a red card. (two yellows gets you a red card). A red card means your sent off the field and ur team has to play a man down and you cant substitute someone in for the player who got a red. You can get a straight red card without getting a yellow for denying a clear goal scoring opportunity with a obvious foul or handball, or intentionally fighting or hurting someone but not like by just pushing someone. (imo reo shouldve got a red for an ELBOW TO THE THROAT) but yeah.
I'm pretty sure the cards last the whole season in a game and the most you get is 2 or 3 yellow cards if I remember correctly which would be equivalent to 1 red which is basically being benched the whole season i think
Some referee would have given Reo a red card for that foul, but I can still see why it's yellow.
It's just cuz Reo has the ball. Situation could be seen as "He only push Raichi away to move the ball forward." Hence why yellow.
(Although by intention, he CAN be given Red)

Elbow to the throat should probably be a red card. I've seen elbows to the face result in a straight red.
Also, the result of the impactcan be less important than intention. I've seen people get a straight red WITHOUT there being any contact, because they ATTEMPTED a dangerous and reckless tackle that can end someone's career.
And yeah, Scorpion Kick, and flicking the ball over your opponent are real moves.
