Rhaenyra saying she's in an impossible situation has nothing to do with Alicent. At the beginning of the trailer she states that a Targaryen ruler must protect the realm, and she knows that a civil war between them would essentially destroy it, that's why in S1 she says she doesn't want to rule over a kingdom of ash and is reluctant to go to war, but now the greens have usurped her throne and killed her son, therein lies the problem(Impossible situation), how can she be expected to uphold her duty to protect the realm when she's been pushed to her absolute limit? So at the end of the trailer we see what state of mind she's in when she says war is coming and neither of us win, she's going into this conflict already knowing the outcome, but she can no longer stop that Targaryen urge to burn everything in the name of vengeance.

Also you seem confused by what Aemond said to Cole "Alicnet holds love for our enemy, which makes her a fool." He's definitely talking about her love for Rhaenyra, it seems like Alicent regrets that things have gone this far and really doesn't want any smoke but on the green side she has no say in any decision making, all she can do is plead to her sons but that doesn't mean they'll listen.
We know why Aegon wants revenge...cant wait😂

Sophie, it's funny how you made that connection with emotions and the "woman" ruler. I think that's what the male characters wish to be the case, but almost ALL of them are going hard for this war because of their emotions lol (Criston, Daemond, Ameond, and now Aegon with his revenge etc.). Rhaenyra and Alicent trying NOT to use their emotions to make decisions. Rhaenrya should be very emotional with losing so much, but she's focusing on the safety of the realm.
Even in the first season, Rhaenys was trying to hold back on war and complimented Rhaenrya on showing restraint. She's literally telling her in the first trailer to "think" about the consequences of this war. Everyone else (men) is going off the handle and being very emotional.
Aegon will deserve his revenge, that's all i'm going to say about that
