In the captivating third episode of the Montsec Bikepacking Loop in Catalonia, awaken with me to a breathtaking sunrise, where the sky ignites with vibrant colors, setting the stage for a blissful yet chilly morning ride. The journey takes an unexpected turn before lunch when the spring in my disc brake pads implodes, challenging me with a timely repair after dismantling the entire brake system. Undeterred, I traverse the stunning Montsec mountains, moving from dirt road to dirt road, trail to trail, immersing myself in the beauty of this rugged terrain. As night falls, I arrive in the enchanting village of Anger, cloaked in darkness but just in time to stock up on provisions. Utilizing the cover of night, I scout the outskirts for the perfect spot to stealth camp, ready to rest before another day of adventure.

So the spring of pad melt down? It's crazy. And What kind of tires are you using on this bike? I try to find that on the link of kit, but not shown. thanks.
It looked like melted but it wasnt. I think what happened is that the spring got bended and the friction with the rotor burnt off parts of it. But looking from the outside in the spring seemed melted. The tires I use are Schwalbe Nobby Nic 2.8" - have a look at this video on my setup: czcams.com/video/V71dbCYwtuw/video.html 👊

Iv seen a few people recommended putting these moisture absorbing bags in your tent!
Maybe it can help. I'm going to try it out see what happens
It's not like the inner tent gets wet, it's the condensation inside and outside the flysheet. There is nothing you can do against that when you reach the dew point.

Ne ho provate diverse non ce n’è' nessuna che mi soddisfa appieno. Quando ho fatto il Montsec Bikepacking Loop stavo usando per la prima volta RidewithGPS.
