I need this, and I’m going to make it. Thanks for the tutorial!
Thanks, I needed this for my Husk cosplay lolll
My first thought when you flipped the claws inside out was that they looked like bananas! (I'm not making fun of them btw)
this seriously helped me troubleshoot something I was struggling with on a suit I am making. Thanks so much for posting this!
Thank you for this video! I won't make a wickerbeast suit anytime soon, but I love the video! Amazing as always. ❤️
I am not making a wicker beast, but this is amazing for my dino mask!
Amazingly done!
Thank you so much for this Mugiwara! (Right on time!)
My mom is teaching me how to sow and make stuff, thanks for the info 😊
Using for raptor suit!! Thanks sm for the pattern.
woo, im early
Wow amazing
Pretty!
Good work👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
I just made the ones from your last tutorial from 2 yrs ago lol then I saw this
Damn thats cool
How would I go about making the paws on a character with large forearms?
Seeing how old your comment is, hopefully I’m of no help. If by larger forearms I’d look into making a hand extension of some sort (probably look for quadsuit tutorials). If by larger you mean wider make the patter slightly larger than you want that actual bit to be (to include seam allowance), then make your inner lining regular size. Attach the lining at the base of the “gloves” (and perhaps start adding in elastic now for a more snug fit) then as you have the lining a bit more than half attached turn the paws so they are right side out and stuff the empty space with polyfill or fabric scraps cut small if you have a LOT. Stuff until desired squish (personally I’d go medium firm minimum for that) and carefully ladder stitch the seam closed.
@@cynthiabrogan9215 2 linings is a great idea! Yeah wider is what I had meant. I haven't gotten a chance to start on my suit yet lol this is wonderful advice! Thank you ❤️
@@xkaijuart7463 just to clarify, the outer layer is the fur layer. Also thinking about it now (it was really late when I sent my first comment) perhaps you could even add a bit of foam in places to help preserve the movement a bit better? Like the fingers may want a bit of foam on the tops and bottoms. I think there are some tutorials that show this for normal sized paws to give you an idea. Also be careful in between the fingers you don’t want to make them too wide. Perhaps making it more genuinely paw like would help keep the illusion up? Paw toes have an odd shape to them sometimes that’s hard to notice if you aren’t looking
Edit cause I forgor to mention: If you do use the foam method I mentioned here (tbh I think either could work it depends on what you want. This method is likely going to look more realistic and have more movement but be harder and not look as cute) you should cut out the inner lining first, put it on, attach your foam (don’t burn yourself with hotglue), and then make a finger pattern and if you’re using foam the full way around make the pattern basically the same way you would for a head. The reason for this is that I don’t know if the suggested tall fingers would work well with a normal finger pattern.
🙈
this is amazing! btw can you do a tutorial for a insect/bee fursuit head? i realy wanted to make a insect fursuit but i dont know how :
I think she did a moth one! You might be able to alter that a bit to make it look more bee-like
@@simpletoastvibes oh! I know! im kinda too scared to try, im scared about failing😅 i wanted a bee-look fursuit :/ ty tho♡︎
@@X_Paper_Dino_X I can understand that, I struggle with the same problems sometimes heh
What is the fabric that you used for the lining called? Because I want to order some online but I don't know what it's called.
Love the video, very helpful ❤️
It looks like lycra/spandex.
😻😻
Ooh!
Can you also use minky for the claws? Nice tutorial btw ik im a little late :3
Yes
Where else can you get the vinyl from, and what kind is it? Your link doesn't work anymore, at least not for me.
Is it absolutely necessary to handsew the claws on? Or can I use my machine? Great tutorial btw :))
If you can. I handsew them on because that is easier
@@MugiwaraCosplay oh ok thank you :))
Hey can i ask, did you use chalk pen to mark your fur? if so what brand and where can i get the same ones?
No, I use markers meant for fabric (different types so no certain brand), and I found them on Ebay a long time ago
Can I eat the claws they look like bananas
Bananas!
