    Those underlying principles are what I refer to as the eternal Law, I have been living by them for years and they are guranteed to work. There is a healthy principle for every area of our life. If we apply them to each area of our life we feel whole and complete and when we are in alignment with nature our perspective changes and we begin to realize that our entire life flows out from our being. This world exists within each one of us. We were never born and we will never die everything is just one energy, consciousness, manifesting in an infinite variety of ways and that consciousness is the deepest Self that is each one of us. As we live by the Dharma we are living in a completely natural way that feels right and natural and we are at peace because we are no longer deluded by Maya.

    Very interesting. Do you know anything about the Anglo-Saxon concept of Wyrd, and whether Dharma is similar? Wyrd portrays an ordered, patterned cosmos and is critical in our Heathen religion. To try and defy the flow of Wyrd is to disrupt the pattern and to bring chaos into society.

      They're definitely related, these belief systems stem from a common Indo-European root. And hello to a fellow pagan!

    Acharya, are there any books to recommend that compare and contrast the concept of Dharma across various cultures and traditions, as mentioned in this talk?

    • @DharmaNation
      @DharmaNation  Před 4 lety +10

      Thank you for your question. The very best book that offers a cross-cultural explanation of Dharma is "Sanatana Dharma: The Eternal Natural Way", which is available here: dharmacentral.com/Sanatana-Dharma-Book.html.

      DharmaNation thank you for the reply. I’ve actually already read that one (also the Dharma Manifesto and Radical Universalism). I read it about a year ago though, so maybe it’s time to grab it off the bookshelf..incredible book.
      I’m very fascinated with this topic, the concept of Dharma being present across cultures. Something I’d like to research a little deeper.
      Have a wonderful evening.

    We only start to suffer when we realise that we are separated from God (Heavenly Parent - center of Universal Consciousness, the source of true love). We humans are authistic in nature, due to the "human fall". Religion is therefore the path which leads us back to God. Jesus said "I am the Way, the Truth and the Life" nevertheless, we must incorporate Dharma in our path back to God as much as we must follow "The Principle" an other expression of eternal truth. My conscience and intellect sais that above lecture is truthful in all aspects. God bless you.

    Actually its true, the whole universe is Santana Dharma, Universal law to follow or Eternal Law to follow. the Almighty doesn't recognize or even understand about your chosen sects, caste, creed, class, Race or even what kind of creature your are? what Dharma you followed or what Adharma you followed is only questioned, depending on that; you will get the ticket to Heaven or back to cycle of birth on Mrythulok or Planet Earth, this is what my Grandfather preached to us.

    He is a true Brahmin, imparting knowledge from Love. its Unfortunate how ages ago in India, Bhramin community was created and then they go ahead and call themselves highest caste, yes you can laugh about that, I always do coming from a Brahmin community.

      Tao is copied from Dharma but still they are way behind to catch up to the deeper philosophy of Dharma
