- Narada Muni is the most important spiritual master, religious leader, rishi and guru to have ever lived in world history. There is no other rishi who is spoken of as much as Narada throughout the entire Vedic literature. His teachings form the very highest and deepest philosophy in the entire tradition of Sanatana Dharma. Despite these facts, very few people in today's world know much about the life and teachings of Narada, including even many of today's practitioners of Vedic spirituality. In this amazing talk, Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya, one of the most authentic and qualified Vedic gurus alive today, gives us an introduction into the life and teachings of Narada Muni, the greatest of all Spiritual Masters. This talk was given by Sri Acharyaji in March of 2012.

Thank you!
Glad you’re back making content after your break.
God what a beautiful story, is Narada still on this earth carrying out missions for God?
Narada is a being who has been present and operative in our universe for billions of years, and who is present in our universe today. He has many thousands of disciples on many planetary systems, including several who are on Earth today. One of these disciples of Narada Muni is Sri Dharma Pravartaka Acharya.
Incredible, certainly someone i would like to meet to say the least.
Thank You for the talk. Which is the first book would Acharya Ji recommend reading on Narada Muni?
The Narada Bhakti Sutras is the most important book written by Narada Muni. There are several translations. But Sri Acharyaji has translated it himself and is currently editing his commentary on this important scripture. Acharyaji's translation and commentary should hopefully be published by the beginning of 2020. At around 400 pages, it will be the most extensive commentary ever written on this important work.
Do we take these stories in the literal sense or are they more metaphoric?
The standard procedure in Vedic exegesis is to accept a story as literal, unless it is otherwise indicated in the given text itself that the story should be interpreted metaphorically. Metaphorical interpretation should always be the last recourse in understanding scriptural statements, and not the primary course of interpretation.
In other words Nāradā is a time traveler..? it could explains how he had 3 births before the universe was ever created.. or after? This was not clear to me..
Thank you for your question. Narada is not a time traveler. Rather, he was born several times through the process of reincarnation. Every material universe (and there are multiple material universes) goes through a process of being created, and then destroyed, only to then be replaced by another universe. This is an eternal process. There were universes before this present universe came into being; there will be universes after this universe is destroyed. Thus, Narada had an existence before the creation of the present universe.
@@DharmaNation this makes it all clear now. Thank you 🙏🏽
