About that dial. It's a manual windable timer. This means you have to turn it all the way to the right first to wind it up and then you have to turn it back to the amount of minutes you want. Normally then the lower minutes will also work.

hEAR IS A TIP FOR YOU REGARDING YOUR TIMER ISSUE. Try turning the timer all the way up to the maximum time, and then back it down to the shorter time you really want. Sounds strange but it will likely work. Just an odity of that type of timer system.
Run car with recirc on dashboard to run it thru air boxes inside dash..
i used it on my 1987 corvette that had a terrible mice smell got rid of it . i am in shock . but i have to do the 1 week test like you.
Action of dial is normal. Turn dial almost full on, then back to desired setting. Pretty typical for that model of dial. Also, after grocery shopping leave items in car and run generator in car. Will sterilize everything.

Yes not long after. I recently ozoned an entire building with this ozone generator and the smell was gone after a few days

Maybe it’s designed to not be working while you plug it in and get out , gives u time to do all that , starts only all those mins later

They’re safe as long as you don’t breath in the ozone for too long. The ozone generator I doubt would work through a wall, but the ozone gases would probably make their way back there somehow, so it may work for that.
Have to air the vehicle for an hour after ozonizing the interior .
Your dial is defective. Walmart sells a better unit for $63 shipping included.
is the smoke odor removal permanent, or do you have to return periodicaly and run the machine again?
As long as you get whatever is creating the smell out of the vehicle, then it should take care of it permanently

We had another brand SAME JACKED UP JUNK TIMER.
It's the way that style of timer is designed. Just turn it All the Way first. Then, turn the dial back to the desires time you want to use.
It will more than likely work as intended by the manufacturer

No, they could’ve received a faulty unit. I’ve used this unit many times and it has never created any smoke.

So i've stayed in the same room as the ozone generator is active. I notice the smell and its much easier to breathe and enjoyable instead of what many people say otherwise, harmful. it clears odor definitely. it smells like fresh air. i can take deep breath and have no problem at all whatsoever.
That's a poor decision. I hope others don't see and think it's a good idea. It literally breaks down oxygen molecules.

I had an Ionic-Pro in my camper and that is when I started getting better health-wise. I bought a couple small units that go in outlets and I sometimes run them while I am on my sailboat. Before I thought for sure a wheelchair was in my future, not a sailboat! It seems to help me breathe easier also. I ran a restaurant in NY 20 years ago and we ran two Alpine Aire units 24/7 never had one complaint. I find this all confusing everyone being so afraid of Ozone...Jewels after 7 months what do you think about being in the room with it running? Would love to hear how it is going for you.

Good question but I don't think they're regulated at all. Use good judgement and follow the instructions and you'll be fine:-)
A t-shirt or face mask shouldn't help even one bit to for ozone. The molecules of ozone are far too small to be filtered out by masks. (It's a different story for virus particles and n95 masks by the way, because the masks are designed to attract and attach to the viruses.)

The back of the ozone machine needs to suck in fresh air. Keep the ozone machine outside the truck and make a flex pipe to pipe in the air though the window. It will work100x better
