If you rub your paint brush over a hard bar of soap, before you use your masking fluid, it will stop the brush from clogging up and washes off easily afterwards. Lovely tutorial. Thank you.

Thanks for sharing best technic
You're a very interesting art teacher as well as a wonderful artist. It's a nice reminder as I have used all these examples except for the cling wrap. I will be trying that on my next few paintings. I can see how it would make more depth to an under water painting as well as a landscape. Might try it on a portrait too. mmm interesting..... Thank you. Hugs!
You does wonders.
Hello Kirsty, thank you for so many great videos with lots of very helpful infos. I am always waiting for a new video from you. :) I was thinking about trying watercolour but I am not sure if I will like it or if I am able to handle them. So I don´t want to spend too much many in the beginning. Do you have a recommendation for good and "cheap" watercolours? Thank you.
Great video.
Heyy paint keeps falling out pg my pallet. We tried water ans everything to makr it stick but its still not working.
Btw nice vid. I love watercolor alot!
Just the video I needed, thanks! Is paper pilling a problem or is that the be expected with watercolour paints and paper?
I really like the cling film one
So helpful!!
Thanks.....very useful!!!!
can I use wet one wet technique to create smoke effect on the painting?
Awesome video, so many good tips! That was very helpful girl!
Thank you! I was just wondering why there is a kind of gritty effect when the water is added to the paper? Is it because of the paint type, or is it because the watercolor paper is not handling the water well and is kind of peeling up? I noticed this happens when I paint and I wish I could stop that. I am wondering if it is my paper, perhaps it is too thin?
I definitely need to experiment more with my watercolours so thank you. regarding masking fluid I recommend using a colour shaper. it has a silicone tip so the masking fluid peels off it after use rather than destroying a brush :) ~ x
+Jade Briers I am glad you found the video useful. And that is a great tip! I will definitely try that 😊

Can i use acrylic paint instead of gouache?
I’ve seen other artists add vinegar to their water. Makes the colors spread differently. Also blowing bubbles in the colored watery paint and then transferring the bubbles to the paper and letting dry.
Have you done much with watercolour pencils?
I LIKE THE water pennnnn
