  • What do Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Metro Boomin, Future and ASAP Rocky have in common? They all hate Drake. But why?

*rap legend (MAYBE) You can say that. But he literally can't be a "Hip-Hop legend" because he isn't Hip-Hop.
This is what's wrong with Hip-Hop now dayz. You got nerds and bloggers from the burbs commenting on our shit. Hip-Hop is urban street culture and y'all are squares to the shit. Got y'all fooled by mimicking our culture. He grew up well off in the burbs. Acts like he's hood or some shit but I can assure you that dudes in the hood don't paint their nailz either

Not really. There are plenty of hip-hop artists that don’t rap about the streets, don’t rap about gangbanging, dealing drugs, etc. The problem is that Drake is trying to be that guy and we know he’s not.

      REALLY!
There is a lane for rappers that don't rap about that. And rapping also doesn't make you Hip-Hop. drake is a pop star that raps.
You're right about him pretending to be that guy and NOT being it. That is it. There is a lane for rappers not doing that. LL Cool J is Hip-Hop by birth. He doesn't rap those things. drake could never be Hip-Hop because he NEVER lived that way. LL was born into it but didn't slang or bang or anything. That is good. He isn't fake.

blaming this on “needs and bloggers” is being incredibly ignorant towards the real problem. Capitalism has unfortunately commodified the industry to the point that it is almost completely removed from its roots and the culture it came from. As a result, you have a lot of guys like Drake who are considered widely to be part of hip hop even though he doesn’t have anything to do with what hip hop is supposed to be. But acting like it’s a bunch of bloggers or youtubers that are removing the genre from its roots is incredibly ignorant to the real reason it’s happening

@@jxmp8625 I agree for the most part. Nerds and bloggers are part of the problem, though. You speakin' on the bigger problem and I respect that. These dudes ain't Hip-Hop just 'cause they rap.
I salute what you sayin'. Real ones know 💯

Drake is a legend. You need a whole rap industry to take down one guy

He is fake, has a lot of enemies and stirking the chord a minor. He zesty, culture vulture, manipulator and not a good rapper. He drops albums every three months and they dont last. Kendrick alone did 99 damage and that 1 %, he let other rappers finish it. Bbl drizzy ahh licker
