The light is not for line crossing detection it's just to light the ground when you go in/out of the car at night.

I have noticed that the heaters on the mirrors of my Golf don't get very hot, and not very quickly either, but they do work very well so I assume they are not broken.
To the touch they don't really feel warm at all.
Let's hope you can get it back on your neighbour's car before they know it's missing! What have you got your eye on next - their Electronic Control Unit or perhaps, airbag controller? ;) Always great videos and much appreciated.

Mon rétro passager grince lors de l'ouverture et du rabattement de ce dernier. J'ai fais un premier graissage mais si le bruit reviens, j'irais plus loin dans le démontage.

As a proud owner of 308 I can tell that those 3 LEDs directed down are for assisting light in dark environment. It is much easier to find a door handle in dark garage :-) Of course it is also a decorative gadget :-P

Can I change the mini LED under the mirror? Peugeot in Germany says, I need a complete new mirror for 450 EUR, it's not possible, change the mini LED (position light)...
Somebody else asked the same thing a while back, despite the led module being removable, it is not available as a new spare part. The cheapest way would be to locate a similar miror in a scrapyard....

Sortry, I do not have the parts anymore, so I can't confirm the part number. Usually the spare parts store at the dealership have access to an exploded parts list and should be able to provided the part number, however it is possible they will sell only the entire mirror assembly, the cheapest way should be to find a second hand miror from a scrap car.
@@msylvain59 I have asked the dealer; they only sell the entire mirror (as one assembly) so no luck there. Could you recommend someone that sells these (used) ? I need the left side (3 light led assembly). Thank you

Thank you for this video. How to reach the screws (0:26) that attach the mirror to the rest of the car ? Is it required to remove the interior door panel ?
EDIT: yes it's required to remove the interior door panel IF you want to REMOVE the mirror. However it's possible to do some maintenance on the mirror while keeping it attached to the car.
I believe you just have to unclip the plastic panel at this level inside the car, it will reveal the screws and coonector.

Bonjour. Merci pour ce tuto. Pensez-vous que l'on puisse acheter au détail la grosse pièce en plastique noire que vous avez en main à la 21eme minute ? On retrouver mon rétro de ma 308 GT Line 2017 cassé !
Plus précisément la pièce / moteur à 23'42"
Il faut demander à une boutique de pièces détachées Peugeot, mais ce sera peut être moins cher de trouver un rétro complet en casse ou sur ebay.

I guess this folding motor could be plug and play on Peugeot 208.....
