I would be sooooo happy if SKB was not valued so high.. unleashed inferno feels so nice. With the bracers in legion, etc. I think it has had its time to shine.

Cannot wait to roll my new blood elf mage in the Remix event and get that kickass Bloodmage helm/shoulders/belt. Also with the expansion after this one being focused on Quel'thalas, I can only imagine what other blood elf-themed mogs we'll get then.

@@WC_Brush its a leveling event call mop remix , start at level 10 and level throughout pandaria which you are locked to some other unique gearing features as well but easier to explain by watching a video on it.

Why does so many ppl dislike SKB?
@@loqztv having to weave on a long cast pyroblast (esp during a combustion window) just feels bad. It doesnt line up with cd's well and you basically have to prioritize it when you get it because every cast of pyro after you get it is just a wasted stack. its good sometimes because you get combustion more, but the damage during comb didnt seem so strong. with unleashed inferno, casting spells will feel so good as a fire mage.
@@loqztv cause its shit nobody wants to full cast a pyro blast, its jarring and janky, if you like it thats great, you are a minority and should reconsider your opinion on shit gameplay versus smooth gameplay.
Yo this was really well edited dude. Great video. This CD-oriented version of fire mage looks super fun, and historically burst classes often do well in raid and M+ as opposed to more sustained classes like current SKB fire mage. I'm extremely hyped!! Cheers

as somone who mained hunter, I agree, comparing how differently they treat the classes, mage is the MC of wow, while hunter is the estranged unwanted mistake the parents try to forget.
And also hallarious, that lock, monk, mage and DK, get more pets, than BM in their hero talents^^
DK and lock is understandable, as they are also pet classes. But even monk and mage get more cool pet both visual and mechanical than BM...
pack leader is litteraly just more auto attack the spec... meenwhile mages get a phoenix that popp off, DK asemble their entier archeus council, monk fight along spirit gods, and lock get's mega demons popping off. Meenwhile pack leader is, your pet auto attacks a bit more, and dark ranger "sometimes" summon a undead dog, that will probably be bugged out just like old stomp and dire beast bugs, of doing nothing, due to a pebble being in the way...

Boy this is by far the coolest hero talent tree yet. I mean I already liked frostfire and spellslinger, but sunfury is just amazing ! I just hope they're gonna improve the visuals on the spheres to look more like the spheres from our Legion artifact. Also, I think it's high time for a visual update for meteors ^^'
Guess this is gonna be my 3rd main. Healer at heart and im leaning towards presvoker. Then my beloved WW getting insane rework. Now this fire mage playstyle. Im actually very excited for next expansion

Very stoked for Sunfury, though i'm more of a arcane enjoyer. Though, the potential of not having to play SKB definitely makes me wanna mess with fire for sure. It looks insane, big fan of the Phoenix going nuts.
it made me remember arcane mage during WOTLK when arcane mage was OOM very fast but did so much burst damage that it was still worth it
Soooo cool, and on top of that the fire orbs floating above your head is such a delicious concept, looks like a fire mage, feels like a fire mage, plays like a fire mage! Can't wait to play this but also, quick question: your mana is running out every time you go haywire, does that mean that we are going to see mana being relevant again in non-healer classes or is it just a bug/temporary feature of the Alpha? that combustion CD came back so fast! i will def try this with unleashed inferno. feels like you're doing good damage between cd's which is nice
Only with the fire orbs in the top of the head they got me , and even more with the Fenix
absolutely, it doesn't take a huge design overhaul to get ppl excited to play their class(not that there is anything wrong with overhauls), but take a look at this beauty! That's fire mage right there bud!

I’m curious if the mana problems are intended and we are supposed to be gaining the buff that arcane surge gives us when the phoenix casts it or maybe we will have to lean into less haste because of the passive haste we gain from the tree. All in all great looking talents I hope if they do make changes it’s minor not overhaul.
Did you move bars 4/5 between your portrait frame and the enemy's? Is that how you made it look sort of like a 'weakaura'?

What happens when your phoenix is already out, and then you generate a new spellfire sphere while NOT taking the Ignite the Future talent? Does it keep the sphere in stack for the next combustion?
Burst window every 50s? Hell yeah...seems like fire mage will finally have some pug-friendly variant where you don't need to focus on dragging skbs from a pack to another a just have a burst for every pack there is.
In s1 DF I enjoyed MM exactly for this reasons - every 45s salvo with double tap and I was just pomping on pull. This looks as similar pattern which I just love so much.

This seems so fun for both arcane and fire, I sure hope they manage to balance it for both at the same time, I'd hate if they nerfed it for both specs cause it overperformed on one of them.

This is great for me because i personally hate SKB playstyle. I do not like hardcasting a long cast like pyroblast. It feels like it completely interrupts my flow and thats whats kept me from playing fire mage. No other build was viable. This might bring me to fire mage as a main next xpac
All mage Hero talents sound so freaking good.
Hopefully they pull of tuning so you can choose between Sunfury no SKB and Frostfire SKB. Different dmg profiles and gameplay (and aesthetic) on two fire mage builds would be awesome. This has already been done with Enhancement shaman; Storm build and Elementalist build.
Would love if you would test and show us the other mage spec's as well

bruh ive been debating maining mage in the next expansion and this is just one more reason why. i adore the idea of machine gunning all my spells out even if ill go oom in less than 30 secs lol.
I didn't even realize I had such an issue with SKB until i started playing fire mage in DF. I just really didn't jive with it. but kept feeling like i should. What you're describing though is what i think id like to play

This makes me so excited. I stopped playing fire mage and returned to my old love frost mage because I hated SKB so much. But the potential of SKB no longer being required!? I am PUMPED.

If we are playing this build the issue gonna be that unleashed inferno doesnt include flamestrike which gonna make our 50 sec down time unbearble whith a build that doesnt include flanestrike i understand that your down time you wont do much damage but with no skb and flamestrike ur gonna do zero damsge in aoe
not if you talent into the ignite build where you dump all your power into one target then spread the dot with fire blast
@@evox5792 ignite with no combust because in this build you dont use skb will be reaaly low dmg to none outside of ur cds
Does the bird have it's own HP and can it be killed by enemies? Can the bird also pull aggro on it's own or is the bird basically just a buff that has a bird animation? edit: spelling
This looks great but I really hope there is a glyph option to hide the spheres. I hate things cluttering around my character that I am unable to get rid off (especially if they passively regen out of combat that makes them sound as if they're going to be permanently there). They look ugly af atm too :D. I know it has nothing to do with gameplay but I hope there is an option for us!!
I think they should change the fire orbs to the ones in Legion that move around your head instead of the stationary weird ones we see in this video.

As a warrior player, these mage hero talents are making me want to convert to the arts of magic. I wish blizzard did a better job at making all the hero talents cool and not just a few specs like mages

No one is playing them because they are boring compared to everything else in alpha.
None of the Hunter specs have been addressed yet.

Avoidance and leech should be great since we lack smt against chip dmg in DF.
Maybe an unpopular opinion but I actually hate SKB and have been playing Unleashed Inferno all of DF. It’s just way more fun to me to have a proper combustion more often.
And Sunfury just makes it look even more fun! I’m really excited

This looks dope and tailor made for Fire but it seems like Arcane was just an afterthought when designing this. There is absolutely nothing of the Arcane theme or visuals in this entire tree aside from the phoenix (that was supposed to be an ARCANE phoenix but looks like just an ordinary one?) occasionally throwing out an Arcane Surge. Really happy for Fire but as an Arcane mage main I am crushed.
They need to make the spheres move around like Kael'thas' spheres... or like they used to be when we had Felo'melorn equipped.

Before I hear your thoughts I ASSUME the "Cast Combustion" on phoenix means we're going back to the 1-minute combustion build.
And honestly I hope so. I like fire for the blazing fast APM the spec brings compared to every other spec.

After seeing how uninteresting Pack Leader (BM-SV) is for Hunters, I'm looking to other classes. The Mage is one of them, and hero talents like this look very appealing.

This might actually make me try out a fire mage. I've always loved the concept and playstyle but rune of power and SKB always prevented me from giving it a serious bash because I HATE how they impact your rotation and playstyle. With their respective removal and a way to not pick SKB, I'm thinkin fire mage is back on the menu
