I love that even though the boss couldn't see the star/path Gildedguy wanted to follow he understood this is something he has to pursue. It's easy to support the path someone wants to follow when you know what's at the end of it but it takes alot to trust someone to chase a dream you have no idea about which is how you ended up. Look at early youtubers and pro gamers talking about how they're families weren't supportive cause they didn't think there was money in youtube and pro gaming.

Yes! I knew you'd enjoy that😄. No need to apologize. Yeah, so I really just meant this series cause the main character is called Gildedguy, though he's got other good animations. And um, I think it is not the only one that might make you emotional. Not to overwhelm you, but everything takes place in a larger world, called Cier, or in this case, Stellapent Cier. So many other sticks you may meet are a part of this world, have their own stories/animations, and are what are called Duelists, or Rock Hard Gladiators/RHG (predecessors of Hyun's Dojo). He does include some original characters by him.
Story #1 was a speed due, and the shortest in the series, by a lot.
Some stuff to note:
a) Gildedguy is in Fortnite! Yeah really! Gildedguy and Fortnite collaborated together, this Origin Story video was actually premiered first in Fortnite before premiering on CZcams! (Though the post credit scene was saved for youtube). The Image of Gildedguy in the bottom right corner is actually the Gildedguy Fortnite skin!
b) Most of the stories will have post credit scenes and maybe even scenes DURING the credits, so yeah.
c) I believe Gildedguy is one of those super old content creators/ animators, so I think he was making some of these animations DURING the Flash Game era, he even HAD a few flash games I believe.
d) A lot of these Stories are pretty symbolic or vague or unclear/ open to interpretation, so it's easy to get confused. So be prepared to see comments of people trying to explain the video! Like me!
At the beginning we see Gilded Guy having to choose his career, the options in front of him were all the standard kind of jobs but the drawings show he wanted a more exciting life. His father (the guy in the hard hat) was hoping he'd become the new leader of this factory place, but instead Gilded Guy became an artist working in it. Later on, he tries convincing Gilded Guy to be promoted to leader but he refuses.
At some point, Gilded Guy realizes his destiny/ dreams (represented by the star) resides beyond the factory so he tries to leave. His father tries to stop him with gold, but Gilded Guy keeps going, eventually leading to him reaching his father and hitting him with the magic brush (The paint is the stuff that's actually magic, not the brush itself). His father tries one last time to make him stay, by showing what a good life you could live here, but Gilded still wants to go outside and points at the Star. His father can't actually see the star, but sees it through his son's eyes and that's enough for him, he gives Gilded Guy some gold and lets him leave. :)
e) This story is also a representation of how the creator Gilded Guy's (The youtuber I mean, not the character) life went and how he'd rather be an artist/ animator and enjoy life than living a normal job and not really enjoying life.

Was very enjoyable watching your reaction to this video. I've been a long time fan of Guildedguy and it's always amazing to see other people enjoying his work. If you like this video, I highly recommend checking out his other videos! The story videos all have great symbolism and stories in them, and what's amazing is (if I'm not mistaken) most of the animation is done by Guildedguy himself. He clearly puts a lit of pride in his work, which is evident by his lack of regular uploads. He takes his time on his animations.
If you want to check out his other videos there is Story #1 (Guildedguy vs. Fry, which is the shortest one and if you plan on making a video should probably be tied together with #2), Story #2 (Guildedguy vs. Jade), Story #3 (Basement Busk), Story #4 (Guildedguy vs. Bog), Story #5 (Guildedguy and the Green Eyed Cowboy), Story #6 (Guildedguy vs. Oxob), and Story #7 (Guildedguy and the Rock Hard Gladiator, which is the latest release).

Well I found out that when he was bummed at the beginning it was actually choosing of what he wants to become because of the hats on the wall which had the map on it.
