@@HK-07dude calm down. Not everyone knows about the drama in Hyun’s Dojo. There’s no expectations for someone to be “educated” on things liking that for watching an animated video for fun.
Ig it's a lesson to Gildedguy that sometimes people are far too gone. Mars refused to confront his fears and the consequences of his actions that ends up a never-ending cycle until Gildedguy stopped him
a few notes:
-Mar is a he, not a she.... just happens to have long hair
-Gildedguy's star is mroe a representation of his dreams; something he can chase but never truely catch even though he keeps getting closer. This is why the "star" in the dragon's bely matters: it's not the end, he can STILL chase his dreams.
-the dragon is more a representation of Mar's (and his creator) own demons, something he is deeply ashamed of, but unable/unwilling to get rid of as its part of him, and people wouldnt accept him knowing what he did.
-speaking of, the creator of Mar is a... controversial person (groomer at some point, hence why he got banned from the RHG community altogether, and its something he openly admits to himself though he realises fully just how wrong it is) and this story is Gilded's view on the whole matter, more or less. May also mean something in regard to the coin girl that would rather kill Mar than help him or see the man behind the curse, while at the same time being more than willing to roll into the hoard the monster created for her own enjoyment...
-a detail I like is that the dragon seems to get no enjoyment from it's own deeds. It's self-destructive in the extreme, vomiting/coughing out gold as much as it eats it, and it looks borderline of the verge of killing itself right before Gilded's mech comes out (though it may also be the redult of having said mech inside it's (larger on the inside as it may be) belly. Still the symbolism is strong here, with the beast's own urges doing it more ill than good on every level.
-at the end seems like Gildedguy founded his own guild... with Violet checking the entrance, and yeah Fry is on the ban list :p Also note that Violet and Gildedguy's creator are in a relationship irl, so be ready to see those two together a lot!
The thing is, I kinda think the coin girl isnt at fault either.. isnt she more or less representing one of Mar’s victims? I got that the message the animation was trying to put out was that, despite Mar deserving sympathy and understanding, some of the things he had done were still unforgivable.. I can understand why the coin girl would do that after having been hurt so much and literally having been eaten by him. I don’t think anyone really is at fault here for acting how they did
@@carune_draws You two are very on the spot. One last thing to add on, Mar is controlled by the dragon (his temptations), but he is 100% the dragon, and the girl got the honor to put him down herself.
@@Lagw1020 Mar is indeed the dragon, though I don’t think he is completely to blame either.. what I got was that his very nature got him ousted and now everyone sees him as a demon, including himself. and each time he is reminded of this he grows more desperate, and resorts to changing back into a dragon to protect himself, hence the massive armoured gem over the dragon’s heart. to some extent it is a self-fulfilling prophecy..
and Gildedguy looking back at the dead dragon as he is being carried away as a hero may have been him wondering, if initially people hadn’t been so quick to judge, would Mar even have changed into a dragon in the first place? Would he have harmed people? would things have turned out differently? that’s why its so sad in a way.. Mar’s condition hurts those around him, but it hurts him too
But NGL to me when I was the girl doing she pretty much the victim or she like idk possible she got greedy from like mar corruption upon the gold or herself did it because she like greedy idk but I like the two of you logic so yeah
@@jimmytuplano3843 she didnt seem corrupted at all, else knowing gildedguy (the creator) you would have seen a shift in her eyes like in any other character. She was definitely trying to make buddy with the dragon over their shared love of gold... As the dragon was burning the city to the ground

@@ghostgamer260I don't think MAR really hates him, gilded only tried to help Mar the whole time but he is too deep in his guilt and self loathing. To the point that he believes there is no way he can be redeemed.

@@HK-07 but at the same time, he's fully aware of how wrong it is, doesnt deny it happened, and overall is more responsible about it than others witht he same issue. Leads to the feel of the video: maybe instead of condemning him, maybe it would be better to help him getting rid of it, and come out a better person Because maybe there is indeed a person worth saving underneath the urges (that make no mistake, should 100% be gotten rid of).

Pretty sure purple girls eyes appearing show she was under some sort of control from Mar (seeing as Mar's creator was a groomer I think we can see this as a metaphor) so I don't think she was in the wrong for stabbing Mar. Also, even though Mar may have been redeemable, they did also kill many many many people, which is why the townsfolk didn't seem to care that she stabbed him.
