To explain a bit, this represents what gildedguy's experience with the creator of mar, where Gildedguy (Michael) Tries to help mar but pushes him away and becomes worse over time and done some... very terrible things that made him leave the stick fight community (this is what i think this story was supposed to be)
I remember one of the comments in the video explaining the underlying context of everything. It legit explains so much of the story behind the animation.

yeah you can see the blood veins glow and used the dragons wing to cut the head off
yup, and thats why he uses both to protect himself from flames: dragon flesh is fireproof after all least the dragon would burn itself.
My favorite part about story 8 is the song that plays during the rematch against the marred dragon. Other stories had songs that represented the opponent Gildedguy was facing. This song, though? This is Gildedguy's song, it's representative of him. It's a song of triumph, of Gildedguy's finest moment against a foe that thought he was defeated. It's like all the fables have shown: the knight overcomes all odds to slay the evil dragon. Who'd have thought Gildedguy would have come so far? You love to see it.

That hole in both their stomachs I believe it represents greed during that one part you know the feeling of wanting more but never being able to be good enough and fulfill it
I think that the green star is his imagination as he uses it in multiple ways like "you limits is you imagination" the more you use it the more you understand its use i think
Peak Gildedguy video & Peak reaction! At 22:46, you can hear a motif of Gold Rush, the song from Story #0! It’s a nice lil detail to show that in dark times, Gilded will always draw to boost his mood 🥹

I have an idea for when you do the ruby reaction for this make it so they don’t connect the thought that he’s the dragon maybe you could play it as he survived the dragon he’s just having PTSD from it so when he turns into the dragon, it’s a big shock

Yeah, this animation was EXTREMELY impressive. The release of the video also kind of snuck up on me as well.
The blue, blond haired girl is Violet, created by Rebonkulous, Gildedguy’s IRL fiancée. The character actually already has her own demo video, and it’s pretty good! She’s slated to appear in later Gildedguy videos; at least, I think she is. News regarding that animation did kind of trail off…
Edit: I stand corrected. The animation’s finished and free on his Patron. Doesn’t really seem to factor into the main story though…

Trying to integrate Cier lore into RWBY is confusing because it’s still ongoing. As far as we know, only Gildedguy can see the Stellapent (official name for the star on lore website), and nobody else can. The only way to see it is through Gildedguy, which is what Pa saw through GG’s eyes, convincing him to let GG leave. Best to let it simmer for a little while before brainstorming the commentary.

Fun Fact: the mech's cape is made out of the dragon's innards (my theory anyways) as it's just as fire resistant and has the same texture in some scenes.
