This is my reaction to 10 Most Amazing Road Trains in Australia
In this video I react to more road trains and this time I look at some very interesting and unique road trains from and used in Australia.

I lived in Dubbo for a while. It's basically a service town for big trucks as all the main highways intersect there. One day my son (17 at the time) came home to tell me he had seen a 'truck truck' - a truck with 2 trucks strapped onto the tray!
AS briefly mentioned previously this vid failed to include the longest truck in the world, the 3B custom build road train, affectionately known as the ‘Centipede’. It’s a 205 ton, 160 foot long with an 18 speed gearbox powered by a 550 horsepower engine with 110 wheels on 28 axles and carries over 1 ton of fuel. It carries Zinc ore from the mine site to the port hundreds of miles away and works 24 hours a day non stop.
Outback Truckers is a great TV Show on Aussie TV & some episodes are on CZcams too. Many roads are still only dirt as road construction slowly catches up.
My brother drives I interstate road trains here I Australia. Prior to this, he worked for Bridgestone, making the tyres for the trucks renowned drives.
When I was a young Hot Rodder, Brigestone were the only tires we trusted..
Of course the American Mack truck was the best and so needed the longest description with the most praise. I live in southern Australia and I've never seen a road train.
The bare-bones of Road Trains is at the front is a Truck (aka. Prime Mover or Tractor Unit) - this can be manufactured by many companies, however the vast majority are American, European or Japanese brands, manufactured or assembled in Australia. (Kenworth, Mack, Isuzu, Fuso, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, etc.)
Secondly the trailers are mostly manufactured in Australia, by brands like Tieman Tankers, Kennedy Trailers, Brimarco, Varley, etc.
Many years ago my Aunt's father-in-law went to over take a road train while driving in Western Australia. Unfortunately for him another road train was coming the other way. The impact was so bad that the only way his body could be identified was by the serial number on his titanium hip replacement. As a result of this accident, when my wife and I travelled around Australia we never thought of trying to over take a road train. Those things are huge and very scary.
mate watch a television show called outback truckers you will love it
sometimes the load is so heavy four prime movers are used. two up front two in the back. Check out the centipede 5 trailers. 6 and 7 trailers are in production
There's another video on road trains and half of them are made here in Australia.
Our 360 tonne Haul Trucks in the mine itself, are all also autonomous.. in many mines
When one goes past you at 120kmp you have to hang onto the steering wheel of you car they can blow you off the road. In the NT they have three trailers full of cattle with two levels on each trailer. NO the distances and loads are to bit for battery vehicles.
