    Hi Hamed, thank you for the great videos recently, I will be getting the course for sure now. the content is amazing! wanted to ask whether you will be doing another prismic tutorial from scratch on the app directory by any chance? or do you have one in the course?

    • @hamedbahram
      @hamedbahram  Před 3 měsíci

      Absolutely! The course currently doesn't have a Prismic project, but I'll add that in future. I'd also have a video on the channel as well.

    Great to have a deep dive into tackling complex projects like these. I have a question. I have been using this same stack of Next.js & Prismic for the past few client projects. The DX has been phenomenal but I was wondering How you're Hosting Next.js. Vercel is the simplest of course however for commercial projects you have to upgrade to the pro tier. Do clients readily part with 20 dollars a month considering solutions like Wix and Webflow can cost half of that? I have also heard people say to host on your Own Pro Vercel account and then charge for annual maintenance to cover the costs. What are your thoughts and how do you go about this? It would be very valuable to get insight from someone working in this exact same stack with clients regularly as well.

      I have had clients that are Ok to pay the monthly cost to have the full flexibility of a custom design and analytics from Vercel and have had projects that are running on Vercel's free tier. I've also have client projects running on my own Vercel account. I also ask Ondine and she has the same approach, she either runs the projects on free tier or absorb the cost instead of passing it to the client. I guess it all depends on the specific project/client.

      @@hamedbahram Ok thanks so I was on the right track. Need to work out what works best for the client then

    One small question hamed, have you used nextjs Image component in for this project 😅

    • @hamedbahram
      @hamedbahram  Před 3 měsíci +1

      Yes we're using `PrismicNextImage` components from Prismic that uses next/image component under the hood.
