@@seaque. Always. If something truly works well, it doesn't need "decoration". If it needs decoration, it's a sign the function isn't designed perfectly. Form follows function.
@@HaithamAli-fy8vo Clearly you have never developed a web application. You can have the most complex functions but the form will be 20 year old HTML components.
This is better than many 10 hour "crash courses" :)

I'm a developer which knows what UX is, but my UI design sucks, so I just slap some Material instead.
I'm a developer who aspires to be a fullstack one, I've never really been good at designing (or any art for that matter) but I continue pushing, hoping that one day I will create something that is useful and beautiful. Straight to the point and feels pretty comprehensive from start to finish :) This really made the distinction - workflow wise - between UI and UX more clear for me! I wonder if in the real word there are more UX iterations for different types of UI Designs too, also how much animations and transitions play a part in UX

That is beautiful. Ui/Ux is so overlooked sometimes by developers. Especially UX. JavaScript laden frameworks has become anathema to UX, me thinks.
