They had better not take away a good coach in our minor team, because the last time they did that it didn't work, & we've been struggling to get well trained goalies from our minor team ever since. The next guy they bring in had BETTER get us to the playoffs, & beyond the 1st round. We have the talent, & we need a coach that brings all of their skills out.

This is the right move just 30 games to late. I just hope they get experience.

A lot of NHL head coaches are retreads. Fitzgerald is more to blame for the Devils struggles this season than Ruff. Goaltending was not very good for the Devils.

Quinn only scored 15 goals prior to this season. The League figured out what Granato likes to do offensively & took away those passing lanes. Granato did not have a answer to what the league was doing to him. Peterka broke out & scored a lot more this season so that alone helped make up for the loss of Quinn. The nonexistent power play, the drop in goal scoring by Skinner, Tuch & Cozens led to a season where the Sabres never won more than 3 straight games. How many games did the Sabres come out flat in the 1st period & those games were already over? A change will happen with a new HC (hopefully experienced) & the players will have a wake up call come training camp. Tage & his wrist injury did carry over throughout the rest of the season.

After hearing Adams, it's clear he has been stewing about this move for some time. I believe he has to move fast now, lest someone else swoops in and steals the guy he has targeted.

HIRE COACH GALLANT! I grew up in Cheektowaga, a Sabres fan since Day One. I live Vegas now, and know how competitive Gallant is. He took the VGK to the finals Year One. A true players coach.

Sabres will be in the playoffs next year and it’s gonna have nothing to do with the coach but the new coach is gonna look good because of that bullshit. You’ll be firing him in the next two years too. There’s no coach good enough for the Sabres cause they’re so fucking great.

Hmmm not really happy about this. How this team finished above .500 is still shocking to me. Remember the Swords gave away their best talent a month ago. I guess we will see who will replace him. Let’s Go Buffalo? ⚔️⚔️⚔️

Hockey is a contact sport and trying to play it non contact style, it gets the team sinking and coaches fired. They need to get tougher and their abysmal PP needs rework - That's not going to work with Matt Ellis pulling the strings.

Buffalo is gonna have to except reality no one 6:35 wants to come there to losing city. I have to say true ask sam McDermand what they said to him when he was coming to Buffalo what do you want to go there for? No one can do nothing anything with them.

  • @kevinsnell5031
    @kevinsnell5031 Před měsícem

He makes it sound like there’s been no problem before with coaching dude look back at least 12 years ago ever since Lindsey Left. dude, the only reason why the Sabres are still there you can thank your neighbors the Canadian. They came over and bought all the seasonal tickets because they say they’re gonna watch hockey one way or the other if it wasn’t for them you couldn’t even keep the lights on now.

How in the last 10 years the times he has been available did thry not get a guy like Brian Burke to set things straight from the too down is beyond me. Doofus and his idiot wife need to be hands off and let people that know what they are doing run the show. We finally have a team just need to make a good decision on who runs it

  • @brianpesci

Not Appert, leave him with the Amerks! Mike Peca would be fun but he is another inexperienced NHL coach. Berubi as coach, Lindy as president. This should have happened 4 months ago. I wonder if this was in any part a result of hiring Pete Guelli, because this doesn't fit with the Pegula normal course of action.

It’s one thing to lose faith in a failing season, but if the fans have given up on the rebuild completely then that’s on them for not seeing the bigger picture.

Next get rid of Donnie's boys that backed him in the room. Tuch and Greenway need to go and Tage needs to kick in the butt. Let Rasmus rule the room.

What frustrates me if if they were going to fire Granato. Then why not do it during the season, attempt to save the season and give Appert a test run.
Also I'm sick and tired of ex Sabres coaching in this organization. I'm sick of this team being run like a family business.

  • @MrChewy63

Need a coach with a pulse. These players are too soft. They emulate the GM. Culture of being soft needs to change. Too many figure skaters and not enough Tuch like players.
