Use 'WAVE' spell, when going through doors near enemies, but especially if you have your back to the wall or in an enclosed space, the power multiplies and will can one shot the enemy they go flying. legit best spell if you know how to cast it.
you can use the barrier to push but if the enemy is close enough that they are in the barrier with you, you can swing the barrier around in a certain way and literally catapult them to the ground causing fall damage and letting you get an overhead
Of what I have played the enchantment makes your blows extra powerful and deadlier, people say it makes you swing faster but I haven't noticed that a lot.
OK I don't feel bad...I just ran away from Sir too...made it to what you're calling the crossroads...but now some dude that's duel wielding swords is bullying me 😂 maybe I can figure out where to go by finishing this video...
havent finished the vid yet, but Strikes essentially makes your weapon easier to handle and deliver more powerful impacts (the more sophisticated answer is difficult to convey, but Madoc has touched on that topic before, its essentially much moe complicated than what ive said)
You absolutely owned that first skeleton you fought, this video! Not a chance, haha! That was very satisfying, and inspires me to do better! Would be cool if when you enter the Crossroads, there is a 5% chance, every few minutes or so, for Sir to follow you there if you did not kill him. Think of all the chaos! The potential! Man, I should contact Madoc. The players will love it, surely.
Dang that polearm you are smashing stuff with looks satisfying. I don't think I have ever found one of those usually I am using that big two handed brass mace you find in Sirs domain.
sir looks like a doom3 hellknight. i wanted to buy a game for a while now its cheap too but the controls look challenging to me. and watching you fight trough this is kinda enough for me
You aked what Strikes does. It adds more damage and more impact so you can stagger better but the big enemies still just seem to not stagger at all. Especially the Golem Knights.
How's the tradeoff between removing all the layers underneath your new plate leggings vs keeping them? Curious to see how much encumbrance it might free up

Didn't know if it was a placebo effect but it seemed like the weapon swung slightly faster and it's more accurate

Big boy isn't that bad once you get the thaumaturge on your weapons. A good Poleaxe , Bardiche or Voulge with the purple glow will own him.
Sir now takes dmg by faceplanting walls and other obstacles, i defeated him in 2 hits lol (or just that impact boost spell is op)
