I dont speak Portuguese but I understand this better then Darren's English ::D :D :D
lmfaoooo
lol i'm dead
As an Irish guy living in Portugal for 3 years learning both the Brazilian and native variations of Portuguese I have nothing but absolute respect for Darren Till. He is a pure inspiration to me.
That was hilarious! Thank you for the subtitles. I would like to learn how to speak Portuguese, as well.
Just study it
Nice Man! Go ahead! You can!
and i try speak inglish and is not easy.
Anyone who even attempts learning another language has my respect. Honestly ridiculous how smart you have to be to pick up language quickly and to sound like a native speaker is completely insane. Idk how Darren sounds to Brazilians but I’ve met ppl who learned English later and sound like native speakers
His pronunciation is really good, almost perfect to be honest, but he makes some mistakes about the gender of articles because that is something you don't have in english so is obvious he is not brazilian. If he correct that (and that is not hard to do), a lot of brazilian would not notice he is not brazilian.
If you learned one language you can learn another, it just takes consistency. I used to think I was incapable of learning another language but I managed to teach myself Russian. You don't have to practice a crazy amount, just learn/practice a little bit every day and you will progress no matter what.
I dont think you have to be particularily smart. In Europe everybody speaks at least 2 languages fluently.
he sounds like hes from Portugal lol.
We shouldnot be suprised if it turns out that since he started hanging out with Chimaev and his crew, Till will be or is already speaking Swedish and or Chechen
It quite boggles my mind this guy speaks Portuguese clearer than he speaks English
He speaks English well, its a diverse language and he comes from a part of the world where they have their own distinct accent.
There’s nothing wrong with his English excerpt to foreigners who have trouble with accents.
This is hilarious lol I speak spanish so I felt like I can understand it a bit but man was I wrong
Bc its slang Portuguese.
@@thediaz07They’re talking standard everyday Portuguese in this video. Not a single heavy slang. Spanish speakers often can’t understand Portuguese because the phonetics are more complex than Spanish. It’s not because of the slangs. It’s the accent.
@@Stoirelius ok word. I speak English and Spanish myself...I understand some Portuguese..but some words don't make sense to me.
Till speaks Portuguese better than English hahaha
Darren till is a smart man.
Lol he learnt the language but not the jiu-jitsu
KKKKKKKKKKKKK 😂
He learned Luta Livre instead.
🤣🤣🤣
@@Makavelli2127 Luta Livre just as good
Kkkkkkkkkkl
at least he is honest and telling the true, like im Portuguese from Portugal i really like the way brazilians speak even if it isnt the most correct one, fun fact brazilians speak more like ancient Portuguese the vocabulary but the accent its off
Yeah true. I don't speak Portuguese but I can hear massive differences in the accent listening to people like Cristiano Ronaldo and Jose Mourinho, compared to the Brazilians.
I’m Brazilian and I can barely understand what a Portuguese speaker from Portugal is saying. They turn 20 words into one giant syllable but leave out some of the syllables and Im like what
I'm Mexican and I understand almost every word whenever Brazilians speak Portuguese since their accent are kind of similar to Spanish. But I have an awful time trying to keep up whenever a Portuguese person is talking. I can't understand a word they say
@@theremnants6655 Well Cristiano is from Madeira which is a island and they have a thicker accent than the mainland of Portugal.
i brazilian , i from Vicente de Carvalho , Guarujá. I love de language of the Till , i try speak inglish is very dificult i never student inglish in my life but i see this man speak portuguese very easy and i think this incredible, i love m.m.a and it's help me for my work of the target in new language : ps : i not using google translator

@@brazilianmmalegends thank's brother, i see your channel in CZcams always , i love it.
Damn I already liked him but he just became one of my favorite fighters now!
é impossível não gostar do till mano 😂😂😂
I always just assumed this guy would be an idiot, but he must be smart to learn Portuguese to such a high standard. Respect to you Darren and you seem like a super nice guy too.

Hahaha please tell me there part 2 this conversation I been a student learning Portuguese for while haven’t practiced while 😩😫
Wow
Host (In Portuguese): "It's easy to understand us, but alot harder to speak Portuguese fluently. Did you already understand?"
Till (In thick scouse): "No!" 🤣🤣 Dude cracks me up!
Fala bem sim
Mcenzie dern got her accent from till after all
WTF, his Portuguese is almost perfect. Dafuqqq. 🐧
Brazilian Portuguese sounds a bit easier to learn than the way the Portuguese in europe speak it
Press X to doubt
as a brazilian, this is probably true. though I think BR portuguese is more ‘musical’ and nicer to listen to
he has some balls to tell Brazilians their portuguese is not correct... Ive never heard a more broken english than his.
at least he is honest and telling the true, like im Portuguese from Portugal i really like the way brazilians speak even if it isnt the most correct one, fun fact brazilians speak more like ancient Portuguese the vocabulary but the accent its off
@@Sim-po1mc Well, if the native people of the country speaks like that how are you going to say that is not correct?
Every portuguese speaking country has its own way of speaking it, and they are all correct portuguese within their social contexts
In Brasil, each region speaks the language very didferently, like in São Paulo, in the rural area it is spoken a certain way, and in the urban places it is already different. That is in the same state u know... And that same thing applies to most of that states wich each of them have very different ways of speaking the language and it is unfair to say that they are not the correct way of speaking it just because it is not the dictionary and cult manner of speaking it.
Brazil is a country with a continental size and a unthinkable number of cultural differences to each region.
Dude he meant that Brazilian people don’t speak the square Portuguese...
People in the streets don’t speak like robots they have their own accent and slangs.
If you speak the 100% by the book Brazilian Portuguese in the streets people gonna look at you like some snob dude.
He is right... 🤷🏻♂️
I’m Brazilian and he’s right , he just meant that we don’t speak textbook Portuguese, there’s a lot of slangs in everybody’s vocabulary in Brazil , the can vary from state to state but in the end no one speaks “classic“ or “perfect” Portuguese
He lives in Brazil I thought?
& language do they speak in Brazil?…
Lived*
@@jordanunknown5128 they speak Portuguese but there is a big diffrence like British English and American English... and its funny because the American English and Brazilian Portuguese are not 100% correct but everyone that really doesnt know the languages thinks the inverse
He used to live in Balneário Camboriú back then.

Estou fazendo algo incorreto.
