I still have hopes that you will be able to bring Sir Alex Ferguson on the podcast; Arsene wouldn't be a bad one either.
At the beginning when he said, "good to be here" and scratched his head; giving away that he was lying because he's probably a little tired of doing these kinds of interviews. I enjoy them and others do but he doesn't seem to have the ego of someone who enjoys receiving blown smoke all the time.
Lampard is a proper student of the game. Since he was a player, always quiet and observant. Without the ball his head was on a swivel, always updating his information about what is going on around him. I really want him to go on to become one of the world's top managers.
J T So true! That swivel is something that has also stuck with me. I remember trying to add it to my game back when I used to play at junior level. It helped me well since I played CM.

The thing that made him a great player was his honesty, the way he recognized his weakness like speed and strength and trained in things that would earn him the respect he deserves now

Good man is Frank. He's a good man trying his heart out on his terms, who knows his own shortcomings, people need to understand that if people aren't successful for years it doesn't mean they're bad managers. Maybe they (him and Stevie G) aren't the best managers there could be, but with the right humility and understanding of what their roles are, could excel in who they are.
Respect to such a humble guy, not given the credit he deserved as a player.
Now manager of his former club like Ole, can’t wait to see these young guys given time to really shine.

It would be great, but the only reservation i have is that every interview he does, he always plays up and doesn't take it seriously, would like the guys to get him in for long form discussion and hopfully get him to relax and not bring all the bravado. Like Frank does here
So good knowing fans dont hate just because they are rivals, for a minute i really thought the fight with the assistant manager would ruin the relation of lampard with liverpool fans
@@pratikadhikari3876 I have always liked Lampard even during his playing days. As for the fight with the Liverpool bench, its a normal thing to happen during games, just got blown up a lot since it was on the cameras.
@@NiqueSir yeah but that's part of his charm, he is also good at picking the right moments to be serious too (especially some of his early L'pool interviews regarding the clubs history)

weird right i started properly 2 months ago and already have 800 subs they need to do better marketing..... like intro and lights and stuff as they already have the talent on.

@@elienaddour8973 GIve value, be different than others, offer a different type of look, improve your background, improve every week, talk to people in your comments, understand supply and demands of youtube- be more positive, be more descriptive, be fast to talk about the latest news, reach out to fan websites, Were are your family from it sound like you are not from the uk ..... so look to gains support from your family country by talking about there football, dont think that 130 subs you have are nothing really cherish them.....unless you created most of them or they are your friends that dont follow you and just sub because fuck it they know you... dont ask for subs from thing not relating to your channel, get better audio...try to colab with people that have 200 subs as well , be patient it should never be about the views, watch content by marketing people (dont pay) like gary vee to help you understand how to be a better creator... always try to be better.....it hurts but think why should some one give a fuck abut watching you and how can i make them give a fuck......make more videos.........if you get 1.1k in views do more of that videos. I wish you good luck......... oh and i was watching a podcast and the quote that i think is a good one is "be a deluded optimist" good luck mate

Very exciting as an Everton fan listening to this man’s mindset and how driven he was a player and seems to be as a manager, hopefully he can take us back to the top.
Frank is so mature and intelligent, he has a lot of integrity and quite refreshing to see.
This man Frank is just genuinely top human. Spoke to him briefly post match during his NYC FC career and he seems like he is just the same person on and off the camera. Massive respect for such openness.
Frank is talking about being a leader not a manager. Giving players the opportunity to perform but also taking responsibility when they don't. A humble and intelligent man. Turns out he's not just my football idol but maybe my life idol!
im really glad we have super frank, as a chelsea fan since 93, i just hope all lessons have been learned from the ownership and keep franky long term, thick or thin hes the best for us.

@@ab20246 to be fair he was only 20 or so at the time but considering Rio was there too, even younger at the time (but much more friendly), Frank disappointed me. I’ve heard others saying the same about him. Nicest bloke in that West Ham dressing room was Iain Dowie. Shit player but a good bloke.

Great content , my favorite part about these podcasts is that the players/managers communicate with you in such an open and comfortable way , that helps us as fans understand them more as individuals . Watched this guy for 20 years. Still learning from him. Hats off Frank. Always trying to improve. Never selfish. And always open. Top guy. Hope he becomes a top manger.
His humble and honest nature is the reason he is one of the best midfielder in the world, he is my best player till date... reason being he was the least talented among other player (TBH) but with sheer hard work he decided to perfect the one thing he was good at and that was score goals, he observed and learned, he never thought he would be the greatest but HE DID, this is what i like, not some god gifted players who do not know what it likes to be average

Look when chelsea won the champions league. Both games against barca frank put ramirez through. First time he set up drogba. And my fav. When he lobed valdez in goal. For me the complete midfielder. And i know people compare him to Stevie G. But you never heard of Lampard slipping and letting any 1 through on goal. And he could do something stevie Xavi cesc could't do. Score 20 a season. He scored more goals the most of the strikes of his generation.
Enjoyed listening to that. Lampard is a good guy and wish him well, even if he a Chelsea manager. A very good interview with good discussions and questions, and Lampard answered openly and truthfully made it top quality.

I love these podcasts. I am an aspiring film director and even though this one is about a footballer I find nuggets of great information as all human endeavors are related. Additionally I really appreciate Frank Lampard. He is hardworking intelligent and humble. I'm not a Chelsea fan but I'm kinda rooting for him to be a success as a manager.

Frank for me was a fantastic footballer player that achieved many years of success by consistently performing at a high level. I think during his managerial career so far has been instrumental by him achieving semi finals and finals in competition which is essential for being a great leader is experiencing almost winner but then next year achieving those objectives of winner silverware.

You can't help but like Frank. As a United fan you naturally don't want Chelsea to succeed but I do want Lamps to do well in management I have to say.

And he did, the player who was least likely to make it to the top (among Scholes & Gerrard) but he did it...
The reason why he is my best player till date (trust me i stopped watching football when he retired, but started watching again when he came as manager) is because he wasnt the talented one, he was the humble, hard working, observant learner, who practiced shots even after training to improve in one thing he was good at (ie- scoring goals)
