I freaking love Lzzy Hale. First time I heard her sing was at a live show. I went to go see Skillet on the Avalanche tour. Hearing Familiar Taste of Poison live changed me forever.
I had heard very little Lizzy except guitar cut-outs. Now I know that the concerts where The Warning supported Halestorm must have been unbelieveable!!!!!!!!!!
They do a whole bunch of covers. There are three Reanimate EPs in total and they ranger from pop songs like this and Bad romance, to more straight ahead rock of All I wanna do is make love to you and Still of the night, to out and out metal of Slave to the grind and Ride the lightning. And even grunge in the form of Hunger strike.
Pretty much all of the sons on those EPs are bangers. 18 songs in all over the three EPs.
I actually "got lucky" with the first EP on CD when it came out. It was only available digitally in most places, but I stumbled on a physical copy available on the Atlantic website. It got deleted soon after. I actually took it to a gig to get signed and Josh and Joe were amazed to see a copy, especially in England. That's how rare it is. They sell for between £100 to £150 now if you are lucky enough to find an unsigned copy.
Yooooo, if you wanna change up the pace a bit perhaps, id recommend Novocaine, by Too Close To Touch & Bad Omens (aka a noah feature lol)
Little story to it, Keaton Pierce, the vocalist for TCTT passed away in 2022 to pancreatitis. He and Noah from bad omens were very very good friends and learned everything from eachother. Noah has a very sweet and sad feature on the track, accompanied by the rest of the vocals being Keatons recorded before he passed. Its a very very good song and sweet nod to Keaton.
Anyways, great content. Its an enjoyable time killer. 🫡
I saw them play this live and I do believe that's Arejay doing the main backing vocals on this song.

Some bands are just _damned good_ at making covers, and Halestorm is one them - one of the best, I'd say. Their cover of Dio's Straight Through the Heart is about as good as the original (and that is saying something). Disturbed makes pretty damn good covers, too.
Alright, let's go: firstly I must say that you look magnificent as always and the purple hair suits you well, I know you've had it for a while but it's always a good thing to see, now talking about the music in itself, I honestly Rachael prefer Daft Punk's original version, but Halestrom's version has its value, I don't usually listen to many covers because they are usually much lower than the original version, but this one was good and your reaction was magnificent as always and Anyway, if I could recommend a song I would recommend Self Control by Laura Braingan, it's a good song and I think you'll like it, anyway, keep up the work you're doing and Brazilian greetings to you Rachael! 💚💛💚💛

Great reaction I really like this version of the song it has a very cool rock edge and her voice is so dang good thanks for this one and your right it is fun.
They are well over due for another covers album
Apparently Halestorm can make me like this song, lol. This version feels so much more full and powerful than the original. Pharrell sounds flat and half asleep but this one finally brings an energy it needed.

Its good but I am not much of a Halestorm fan'... have you heard the new The Warning song "Automatic Sun" they are blasting it outta this worl...I have seen so mamy more reactions from around the world and many new to hear them right now...
