Wow Vinh this is such a good advice,
Specially for the #3 advice.
Focus on the peak emotion
Focus on the peak action
Focus on the peak lesson.
You've literally saved my life, Vinh.
I have been struggling with clearly articulating my thoughts verbally, and I was wondering how other people do it easily, and how I can do it too.
Then this video appeared right in front of me. I really loved your presentation, and it has helped me a lot. Thank you so, so much Vinh!!
No offense, but is that literally saving your life?
@@Olyfrun None taken.
It did.
Indeed you are the best Coach , always following you and they have been so important
Haha! I said aloud, when it finished, "Wait! Is it over?? Nooo!" Sign of a great presentation.
Thank you for using your own embarrassing examples. It really humanizes you and helps me realize I can be a great speaker one day.
[00:17] 🗣 Vin shares his method of organizing thoughts on the spot: he takes a moment to grab a pen and notepad to jot down key points before answering complex questions.
[01:51] 🤔 Vin explains two approaches to answering questions: using a single answer or a listicle, allowing time to formulate responses gradually.
[04:07] 📖 Vin recommends using storytelling during job interviews to build rapport and connection with interviewers.
[05:36] 🔄 Vin offers three ways to shorten stories: focusing on peak emotion, peak action, and the lesson learned.
[06:42] 🌟 Vin suggests emulating and adding personal flavors to communication skills by studying and learning from admired communicators.
Enjoyed the information you shared and the sense of humor!
You're Amazingly amazing Vinh
Just love this channel! You are awesome and the impulses you are giving on rhetoric are great.
The mic wasn’t distracting for me , awesome content.
Great insights on storytelling in interviews! For entrepreneurs, remember that stories are powerful in sales emails too. A concise customer success story can boost your credibility and capture a prospect's interest quickly. Keep it relevant and focused on the benefits to them. Great content.
Thank you! I’ve always been great at presentations but sucked at on the spot speaking
I love you, Vinh. Thanks.

When I'm at work, I become the most extroverted version of myself. However, outside of the workplace, I tend to be shy. Any tips on overcoming this comfort zone that seems to be limited to my workplace?
Thanks!
Audio clipping is quite bad for this video. The quality of the video is compromised by the video. Otherwise, great video!
I think you’re awesome! 👏
Vinh, thanks for sharing with us all these tips 🙏
Can you please, next time, be careful about your distance with the micro. It's going saturated way to often 😅 👍
bro you are the best
"and the only way I knew it was gross was because I watched the video back and it made me want to vomit and die." what a way to end the video 😆
Tears, Truth, and so We'll said!!
🤣 Vinh, 45 seconds Is on the spot ❗️

Hi Vin! That jacket is fresh!!! What brand is it?

someone asks me a question in public, "give me some time to gather my thoughts", immediately turns around and starts writing in a notebook hunched over. Seems odd lol, I love Vinh though

Both the families you choose, and the families you were born into
I’m at the level where I would say: “I love this question” and then my mind would go blank after
That header made no sense in relation to this video 😂

You mean title? Gotcha

dude I love you, but the popping sound in the microphone is so annoying and gives a headache
#AskVinh How can I, as a teacher and a coach, help my students feel safe and motivated to ask questions?
(Context: I am a competitive gaming coach who has worked with competitors or all levels. In the game that I coach, I have a lot of theoretical and technical knowledge that can sometimes go over peoples heads. I’ve worked on not letting my excitement and passion carry me away from the conversation as much, but I’ve received feedback in the past that my expertise and brand of confidence that I communicate with can push people away from asking crucial questions, even when I attempt to check in with them to make sure they are understanding. My assumption was that if someone didn’t understand a concept, they would stop me and let me know, but I now know that it is up to me as the teacher to create that environment where my students can feel empowered to open up about something they don’t quite understand. Any advice?)
Is this live
😊👌
Hi
Why is the audio distorted?
I have a question. How do I answer a question I don't know the answer too especially in a public place where there's crowd
Just be honest. Can’t go wrong with being honest. Tell them you don’t know the answer and thank them for asking, and that you will look into it and get back with them later. You may also, as appropriate, ask them if they have any thoughts/ideas on the answer. In a crowd, ask the audience if anyone can help answer this excellent question. There’s always someone who knows or willing to offer their opinion. In short, always be honest and authentic. It’s ok to not know. And turn the question on the audience. Takes the burden off you.
How do we "develop" a more rich vocabulary!? #AskVinh
Frame the conversation???
Buddy buddy buddy, love the content but please for the love of God, fix that mic. You're blasting through the speakers
ikr, he needs to fix the EQ and get a pop filter
Dayum homie bought someone for his water delivery straight to his hand
can you answer a question with another question to help you get the answer you wanted
I genuinely think you have an amazing voice! however, in this video, your mic is peeking, and it's driving me nuts, lol. Nonetheless thank you for the amazing content.
Wanted to vomit and die, been there done that
Please fire your audio guy because the mic clipping is crazy
Dont spit in my ears 😢
boycott KFC, boycott Macdonald free palestine
bad audio, gain is too high and mic is too close to your mouth
