00:08 📚 When speaking on a new topic, build depth in knowledge to increase confidence.
01:38 🎤 End sentences on a lower pitch to sound more confident during the learning process.
03:44 🤷‍♂ When facing a question you don't know, admit it honestly, and commit to finding the answer.
05:43 🚪 In emergencies, buy time gracefully by suggesting scheduling another discussion to prepare better.
07:07 🗣 Improve articulation by practicing tongue twisters daily, focusing on exaggerated mouth and lip movements.
08:50 💆‍♀ Manage presentation nerves by exerting energy with star jumps or pacing to reduce excess adrenaline.

Landing on a lower pitch has had significant impact and improvement to how people perceive me. Thanks a ton❤

Me: Susan, it will take a lot of time for me to get into that topic... How about we schedule another time for me to deep dive into it.

Great vid Vinh! I've started a YT channel and I'm starting to pop off now. I'm currently at 1.2k subs and gaining 120 subs a month. Your communication skills video have really helped, but one thing I find is that I'm always talking in a higher pitch. How do you force yourself to speak in a lower pitch? I also need to practice my breathing and slowing down my speech.

Do a video that addresses a speaker's nervous tics. Distracting things like pushing up glasses, adjusting clothing, rearranging hair.

    Hi Vinh,
I have a question, when I am presenting, I feel like i am repeating a few words alot; despite i know the content, i feel like I have been trying to communicate the same thing with a very limited set of words. Is it just a vocab problem, or can something else be done here as well? This also happens in normal day to day conversations i do in English(my second language)

When Im trying to explain something, I tend to try and give as much detail as possible so that everything is so clear that even a 5 year old can understand it. I just assume that the other person knows nothing, so i try to explain things with as much detail as possible which takes too much time and It seems like im rambling. how do I fix this? because when I dont give all the details and assume people know what Im talking about, they just give blank stares.

@@MrBuzzin14 the microphone is definitely clipping and has some really loud plosives. Vinh is not using live monitoring so it could easily happen.

you keep pushing your glasses up, like 4 times a minute..... either buy glasses with nose pads so you can adjust them so the glasses dont slide off so fast or buy glasses like this what you are wearing here but with asian fit so they are actually staying put on your nose and not sliding down because they are not touching your nose
