Beautiful! Precious little in-car video exists from 1985 and 1986, so this is a gift. I'd love to see a full gravel stage from inside, driven the way it was back then... no hand brake.

I always had the impression that there is much more driving sensation in rallying than on circuits (even if I am aware that they are two completely different things)
I'm so glad there is someone like you to document and showcase these glorious machines doing what they were built to do whilst they still exist and are functional. These machines deserve to be used like this, not kept in a collection in a climate controlled bubble never to be used again.
Whenever I think of sketchy rally cars, I almost always think of this (or the Statos). Such an interesting and unique car. Impeccable filming, sound, and video quality as always.

Fun fact : This is the exact car they used for recording the engine sounds for Dirt Rally 2.0/EA WRC video games. This is the 1985 Algarve Rally chassis I believe

Actually, Delta S4 has been created with so much hi-tech and innovations that space frame modelling and engine electronics has been created with computer algorithms and computer modelling. For a first time for the rally bolide. Delta S4 has been packed with innovations and ultimate hi-tech from start to finish.
A floor-cam to show the 'dancing' footwork on the pedals would be nice... 😁

These Group B S4's are just an amazing feat of engineering, in general. Performance-wise, at least. Safety-wise... not so much...

Cette voiture est LÉGENDAIRE! Des accélérations de F1 sur des routes ouvertes avec un tout petit moteur 1600cc si ma mémoire est bonne, juste un tout petit peu aidé par 3 fois rien... un énorme compresseur et deux gros turbos 😂 La caisse la plus WTF ever pour moi. Une merveille de bestialité. Je ne dis pas de brutalité parcequ'apparemment elle était quand-même étonnamment très saine de comportement, pas piégeuse... 🤷🏻♂️ Bah ouai sinon elle aurait un bilan bien plus catastrophique que deux morts en Corse 🤷🏻♂️
