Moogles in last place and Cactuar Crush in 7th!? You can pretty much swap those two round for me. The Moogle mini game was one of my favourites. Those Cactuars on the other hand, can go and crush themselves.
The biggest issue with the musclehead coliseum is the goddamn King Zu they put in every single bout. The entirety of those fights is "Have you heard of our lord and savior, SWAN SONG?"
The moogle mini game was one of the easiest imo. The piano made no sense, the prompts were out of time with the music playing and even if you mute the music the input lag still screws you.
I changed my Graphics to Performance mode and Piano speed to 3 or 4. Playing on a TV or old HDMI cables might be to blame for the lag? I had a small issue of pushing the Right stick slightly in the wrong direction. I would readjust how I held the controller. Also, l leave the controller plugged in to charge, it will reduce lag slightly.
i don't think chicken lure is even considered as a mini game, as for the ranking, to me the worst are those that have hard mode difficulty such as fort condor and gears gambit... even with a guide you might not be able to clear them easily
@@sirloinestakegames7866 back in the day at 14yrs old I failed the first try not knowing what the hell is going on lol. I also don't mind grindy mini games such as dodging 200 lightning from FFX but when a mini game require skill and learning curve then its badddd
The biggest issue with most of the games is the poor choice of controls. Gbike falls down the list because the bike handles like a semi truck. Run wild was great.
@fayrvii2687 True, but I was hoping the bike was out of this world like the NRG-500 in GTASA. Instead, it felt like a car. I crushed the high score with room for improvement.
Question, are half of these mini games mandatory for the main quest line? I almost went insane after losing the mini games in both the Sly Cooper Trilogy and Jak and Daxter Trilogy. I just hope I'm good enough to win that Chocobo race in order to impress Tifa and win a date with her.
Not mandatory but basically mandatory. They put necessary rewards behind 95% of them. Chocobo Race is one of the least egregious ones because the mandatory race is extremely easy and the rewards are negligible for the optional races (of which there are a bloody million but fortunately its kind of hard not to date Tifa even if you ignore it)
If anyone is feeling frustrated with these mini games, I recommend taking a break from the game and take a nap. Each mini game has a strategy that the player needs to discover. Also, if a game is not going your way, you can quit and Retry super quick. Good luck Other tips: 1 Try changing your graphics to Performance mode. 2 Playing on a TV or old HDMI cables might be to blame for the lag on some mini games. 3 Leave the controller plugged in to charge, it will reduce lag slightly.
This video should be named "we just hate most games in general" because if you hate so many games with so variatic mechanics because they're too difficult for you, well, you're just very particular about what types of games you like. And that's not FF's fault.
If you only watched the first few entries then I can understand why you might think that, however, there's a lot of mini games in this video that we loved. Maybe next time we do a ranking video we should do 'best to worst' instead of 'worst to best' and start on a more positive tone 😅
This is a bit kind of like ranking various forms of stomach cancer from worst to best. They're all equally awful and I'd prefer to put my hand in a hot fire than experience any of them.
Gears and Gambits was actually kinda fun after learning it, but that's the problem. It takes too much commitment to actually get into the game, and it's not fun when you don't get it. It should've been more off to the side.

He's very easy to beat with Yuffie and lightning magic, but it gets repetitive fast.
Fire linked to Elemental and HP Absorb is your friend.
Thundara should be enough to cripple the wings.

Desert Rush should be waaaay higher than the bloody chicken lure crap.
Never before have I seen so many minigames with the controls of a trainwreck.
For their sake, they better rectify that on the third and final game.

I would count it as a minigame. Any deviation of the usual gameplay like that counts like the silly "Catch Rinoa in Space game from 8" 😂

Run wild was great.
Bike was bad until I started applying brakes slightly to steer instead of only using analog stick.
Made it much more responsive

Not half, and even the ones that are mandatory let you progress with a really minimal score.

FF12's Gambit mode is a lot simpler and easier to use than FF7's gears and gambit
I will take your word for it since I've not played FF12. Not sure why, I probably should play it at some point - Heather
chicken lure not being last is CRAZY
Would be if there wren't 16 equally bad options.
@@totalvoid6234 look there are bad mini games in rebirth and then there is CHICKEN LURE that shit was TORTUROUS

Putting the Chicken quest at anywhere other than dead last is CRAZY lmao
Nah that quest is hilarious.
Honestly overhated. It’s not great, but I thought it was goofy and fun.
Wtf is up with the auto timestamps again?!?! Bloodborne, MGS 2, Crash Team Racing,… 🤔
I want Queens blood multiplayer
Me too!!! 😀 - Heather

Horrible list. Crunch-Off is definitely the worst of them all while Red's ball game was fun.
As someone who does sit ups as part of my exercise routine, they're far easier to do in reality than in the game.

I'll probably give it another go at some point, I loved Rebirth and will definitely play it again! 👍 - Heather
