- A trip out in the snow to have a little explore round Kinder Scout in the snow.
Starting at Bowden Bridge on the outskirts of Hayfield it was a tough trudge up in the snowy conditions. Snowy, with a chilly wind but clear skies and sunshine made for a stunning day.
Kinder downfall all frozen up was quite a spectacle.

And lastly, I'm in no way paid for my videos, I make them purely for my own memories and hopefully to inspire family, friends and you guys to get out and enjoy our beautiful countryside. I'm no pro but I do enjoy the challenge of putting videos together. Critique is welcomed, criticism is not. If you enjoy my content, why not buy me a drink via www.buymeacoff...
The journey began at Bowden Bridge in Hayfield, facing snowy weather and chilly winds, but the clear skies and sunshine made for a stunning day. Have a fantastic day🎉 💖TFS
It's great seeing the Peak District in the winter and what a beautiful day. Definitely good exercise trudging through the snow!
Thanks Dan. Yes I do like seeing the snow capped hills and the weather just made for a perfect day. Thanks for the comment.
Brilliant video Anthony, enjoyed watching it.. The downfall looks amazing all frozen up - what a sight! Kinder plateau looks brilliant with all the snow, very scenic. You had a beautiful sunny day too.
Thank you. Was quite a sight that’s for sure. Perfect day for it.
nice one mate great views/great walk done the walk in all conditions over the years cheers mate.
Thanks Andrew. Yes I’ve been up there in all conditions, usually cloud to be fair but this day was worth the efforts for sure.
Hi Anthony. Wow fantastic views from the top of Kinder you got there, it's a long time since I was up there and me and my old mate Chris went up the opposite way from you, I think I'll have to visit again sometime, thanks for taking us with you, atb Cheers Glenn it's a 👍from me
Thank you Glenn. Yes I’ve been up here a few times but I think this has to go down as one of the most impressive for scenery. Thanks for the comment.
Lovely! Very different from when I did part of that route doing my first day on the Pennine Way last June in blazing heat! Fantastic part of the world, and that looks like a great circuit. Also, the drone footage really comes into its own for something like this.
Thanks Tim. The Pennine Way is on the list. It won’t be this year for sure but hopefully not too far down the line. I e been to Kinder Downfall a few times but this was one of the most impressive sights of it I’ve seen.
And he’s done it 1000 subs!
Yes mate, crept past a week or two back. No giveaway or anything as I have nothing to give haha. May do a little thank you to all in my next vid, nice to hit the figure but not getting carried away by it. Hope you’re well mate.
@@pipes-hikes well done. Yes all good mate.
Sir are you doing another long walk this summer
Hello there. Yes I have a few plans here and there. Possibly the Cumbria Way but that’s not certain yet. I’m doing the National Three Peak Challenge late summer with some friends so will attempt to record that and then been asked to join a group walking Hadrians Wall so that will likely be filmed too.
@@pipes-hikes excellent sir
