Hi, happy holidays, question: So this unit is on Amazon for I think $99.00 and the ClearClick one looks to be identical for at a minimum of $159.99. I bought the clear click unit because they could ship it and I could receive it litterally the same day and I needed it fast. I like the product but I think it is the exact same thing you are showing here but under the Diamond Brand. The branding is different but the Clear Click unit says version 2.3 on the back. So do you think there is any difference? I just was using to send video from a VHSc camcorder and it seems to work on the Clear Click even though it records "jittery" when I watch it on the camcorder it is not "jittery" but I think that is a combination for the output from once particular camcorder compared to another one I have. So may not be the fault of the unit so much. I need to find an SVIDEO cable and see if that changes the "jerky" recording and playback. So bottom line I am thinking I should return the ClearClick unit and save myself $60.00. Do you see any reason to keep the original one I bought? Thanks in advance.
When you were capturing the VHS footage of the football game, the image appeared slightly stretched on the screen. i believe the aspect ratio of the screen is slightly wider than what the aspect ratio of old VHS is supposed to be - 1.33 to 1 or 4:3. Either you have the aspect ratio settings wrong or the Diamond VC500ST is defective in its digitization of older video with the narrower image aspect ratio. Could you please clarify this issue - by now you ought to know whether your captured footage is slightly stretched or not - or maybe it doesn't matter to you?
I am having an issue im hoping you can help me out with please. so I think what is happening is when I have to format the sd for it to be compatible and writable for the vc500st, that format is not compatible with my mac. Ive tried running first aid but that didnt work. Please let me know if you have any suggestions, thanks!

There are many uses for this technology.. I’m gonna get home movies from special events, amusement parks and other cool old stuff, convert to digital and make CZcams videos with them, get thousands of views and make a ton of money.. Also I am going to start a service where I take peoples old home videos, like weddings, birthdays and vacations and convert it to digital for them for a fee.. This device can make you rich if you use it right.

Sweet
Will this continue recording if the video has breaks or blips in the original? Clear Click stops.
What are the steps to using a sub?
1) press play on vhs
2) press record on Diamond
Or is it 1) press record then 2) press play on vhs? Help please.
Does it have a TBC in it ?
