- I am drawn to anything that has doner written on it so I couldn't wait to try these things, but were they any good...

Beautiful piano 🎹 play I love it, I'm sure that Beethoven couldn't do a food review and play the piano so I'm appreciate you thank you Pappy.
Thank you Wayne. As for Beethoven, he had enough going on in his head!
@@Papparoni yeah I suppose he would be be if you added food review in there he'd be mad ha ha.
Mad-der in fact!
In this weather I think we should all get them out 😂
Oh yeah I always wait for that bit😂
I’ll give these a go
Probably do mine with cheesy chips, garlic Mayo and chilli
Go for it Sam, I reckon the garlic mayo will help..
Iceland chicken meatballs are lovely, with sweet and sour or lemon sauce. Or whatever you. Feel like, x take care
Miss Dream, I haven't had lemon sauce for ages and now that you have mentioned it, I need to get reinvolved :)
Oh yes, Tchaikovsky nicely played Sir! / at 1:38 I see the rider of the horse, to the left hand side (black eye and pointed nose). / Hm that face you need to lace them with all sorts of stuff... it's a no from me. Nice video as always. Mark.
I love the fact that you see further mate, very pleasing :)
Good Morning Papparoni , another top notch review here with the Kebab meatballs they looked very nice ! have a great day mate :-)
'Looked' being he appropriate word eh mate!
@@Papparoni ~They say we eat with our eyes but so often once it reaches the taste buds it is a totally different thing ! lol Have a great day :-)
"Overall I'd say those meaty balls are sitting nicely between those pitta flaps.." > gives the pitta bread a pat after. Ahahaha LOL I found that rather amusing. Never tried these, and after this review don't think I will. I had a suspicion they wouldn't be up to much!
You are one of the most creative YT creators out there Papparoni. 💕
That's lovely of you to say, thank you Jerri :)
Yeah they did look dry in all fairness Pap, pan frying them certainly seems as though it would've been the way forward👌
The rest of them will be getting pan fry action Mr Atkinson, plenty of olive oil :)
@@Papparoni I like the sound of that Paps 🙂
A load of b*llocks then 😂 those myprotein skewers you rate have some new flavours out. I got the piri piri ones and had satay too 👍
Superb! I'll check the myprotein action out next time I'm there mate...
I think i'll give these a swerve Papp... It reminds me of the Iceland Frozen Pork, Sage & Onion Stuffing Balls that i got from there at Christmas 2021... They were absolutely disgusting Papp... And funnily enough they looked almost identical to this product... But the thing that really annoyed me... Was that Iceland only have them available around Christmas time... So i decided to stock up on them by buying five bags at one time... After i had tried the first bag... I really regretted buying them after that... Never again though mate... 😂 Many thanks for the review Papp... All the best... Cheers mate. 🍺
All I can say is I'm glad I didn't buy five bags of these things! :)
@@Papparoni 😂👍
Good honest review Papp
Many thanks Stephen :)
You are funny, I was laughing out loud 😂. I really fancy a kebab not those 😂
This pleases me, lolling is good for the soul :D
@@PapparoniIt really is 😂
Please no ! don't get your balls out Pap !
Nice balls, I'd have them with beans 👍
Thank goodness you continued after the comma Sarah!
Haha 😆
On the subject of ball's,have you tried any of the delicatessen fine eating range.
I have indeed Dennis and find the meatballs rather nice for the price.
I've never had pork doner 🤔 Don't think I want to try it either. They look more like stuffing balls lol 😂Yeah maybe not suited to the air dryer. Nah, will give these a miss. Just another way for them to increase their profits because pork is cheaper. While they are still charging extortionate prices. Nice one Pappa 👍
Cheers Emily, and, air dryer! :D
Scratchy balls? You can get ointment for that, Papps🦀👀🤔😮😂! And as for gettin' ya balls twixt the flaps...is there any other way?.
Anyhoo, I'm stonin' sooo at 1:25 I saw a hamster leaping gracefully to the left, over the moon, then on the casing side Long John Silver's parrot looking to the right.
Balls? Doctor, I keep hearing voices. Where?. In my underpants. Ignore them, they're just talking bollocks.
Toot toot💨💨
Superb as ever Jon, and the parrot is a cracker :D
@@Papparoni A ball cracker, mate? You've met my ex wife, then?
Indeed mate, she's the reason I walk with a limp now!
@@Papparoni Only a limp, Papps? Nah, that's not her then👹
:D
Good effort for turning a relatively flavourless meat ball into something more yummy. I think that the same could be done with cheaper sausages to save money. Nothing that anyone could do though, to improve or save those ghastly dog meat tasting meat balls in a tin.
I agree Uncle, I will have a think, there must be a way to make the tinned ones palatable..
@@Papparoni There is paps, a non fussy dog will eat them 🙂
So not so great meatball ah well we can live in hope great review paps 😊
Cheers M, maybe one day...
Pappa just in case you haven't got tomorrow's video made for a musical piece how about some queen because if Freddie was still alive it would have been his birthday
Not sure if I can manage too many videos currently Daddi but if I do, I'll be sure to remember that :)
@@Papparoniwell hopefully if not no worries mate
Doner meatballs? That's a new one mate! 😂
Indeed they come in all shapes and sizes eh Adam :D
Excuse me, but getting your Balls out? (image of a hairy butt chin)...
I Dona think I'm gona play kebab balls with you today Papp.
I like how you racked them up on the plate. Too bad you didn't have one extra and a chop stick. You could've had a game of plate pool shooting a kebab ball into the Gobb pocket.
Good enough though when you sunk them in the Pita Pocket.
Well that's enough kebab free balling for today.
See ya John 👍😀
Why didn't I think of playing pool with them, fantastic stuff mate!
@@Papparoni 🎱 next time...
@@Papparoni Btw, I did see the horse's head in the fork test. It looked like a smashed chess piece Knight. Check. Checkmate!
Not seen these anywhere, 😂😂😂
Lucky you Malcolm!
Never seen doner balls before, do like a doner kebab although its hard to find a good one, 4/10 not good though, shame that, nice review tho sir
Cheers Adz. The market for a quality doner is well open, someone just needs to do it.
Its basically sausage meat with donner kebab seasoning, I'm not so sure thats a great idea but who knows
For me, there's nothing quite like a proper lamb doner
@@Papparoni agree Paps. This is why I don't rate German Doner Kebab at all. It's beef kebab (probably a German kebab thing?) And much as I love beef, beef kebab just doesn't hit the spot for me at all.
Those German ones are just a good brand, nothing special.
@@Papparoni just found a wholesaler that does the real deal:
88% Lamb, Rusk (Wheat), Soya Isolate, Salt, Textured Vegetable Protein (Soya), Potato Starch, Cumin, Flour (Wheat), Onion, Garlic, Flavour Enhancer E621, Stabalisers E450, E451, E452, Chilli Powder, Black Pepper
That's more like it
Oh no not flaps again and balls as well 😂😂
All over the place! :D
Meh to those dry balls, since when was pork part of a donna kebab, are Iceland scraping the barrel with these new ranges 🥴
Looks like Grill House could be just another Ed's Diner eh Lynne :)
The basic problem here with Iceland is that the Son has taken over CEO from the Father ...
Ah yes, the old classic situation!
I've never seen anything "doner related" being made of pork. Looks like the only way to eat those, is with some kind of sauce along with it. I'm a big fan of the pig, but I think I'd give those a pass. Great review as usual.
Cheers Gary, I'll be giving them a miss from now on as well..
@@PapparoniI've tried loads of these supposed Donner meat products over the years and they're all crap really aren't they. Even the one people were raving about a few months back, I still felt was crap. Donner meat does not contain mechanically recovered chicken unless you go to an absolutely crap kebab shop.
You'd think there would be a market for frozen kebab meat that's as good as a decent kebab shop.
There is absolutely a market for a quality doner Pirate, even if it was expensive I reckon people would go for it.
@@Papparoni it's bizarre to me that no such thing exists. It's almost like they think British people who eat kebabs are all just stupid lager louts who will eat any old sh*t as long as it has the word 'kebab' in it. To my mind this whole idea that kebabs are dirty is pretty offensive and dismissive, and objectively CRAP food like these meatballs just promotes that stereotype and makes the naysayers feel vindicated. I mean PORK FFS. 90% of people in Turkey are Muslims!
I've had some gorgeous kebabs over the years, and you can readily buy good quality Donner style kebabs that are just lamb and not full of filler and rubbish if you avoid takeaways that are catering to the pissed lowest common denominator on a Saturday night.
Poor show, I say, and there must be a company out there willing to take the leap of making something that isn't crap
Good point regarding the pork and Muslims Pirate. Thankfully when I was one of the LCDs, the kebabs were far better than today's offerings. I might contact a company that I've spoken to before about this...
Bare balls
Hydrolysed?? ........... nope.
More high processed crap 😂 my guess is 30% meat and 70% chemically altered crud 👎🏻👎🏻
That's generous Junius, I'd go for 100% crud!
