- Plenty of burgers out there, with varying meat contents. This one is 99% beef, the other 1% being salt and white pepper so I'm hoping for a decent mouthful...

They would more than do the trick as the base for a pie or casserole. And Catteroni seemed to agree as to how tasty they were. Assuming she was given a wee bit as well. Interesting upload, Mr. Papparoni. THANKS!!!
You can't beat Birdseye original's for flavour but they end up about the size of a ginger bisquit after cooking!
I'm the same with white pepper, I go through about a small tub of the Saxa stuff about monthly and live on my own, it's a minor addiction I think 😉
8/10 is a high mark but the ingredients were good. Learnt something from Papp today, I always thought you would have to defrost them before u cooked them,so that’s handy to know. The tune reminded me to watch one of the best films ever(imo…before anyone merks me for saying that)….Battle Royale. The cat is soo loud, makes me laugh.Good review as usual.

@Papparoni - You can defrost those in the fridge, when thawed mix in fine chopped onion, crushed black pepper, kosher salt, then reshape and flatten down more to get a better tasting result with less shrinkage and a bit faster cooking time being as it is then a smash burger.

I’ve seen these reviewed before,lots of expected shrinkage but not bad tasting with minimal gnarl,don’t think I will be exchanging these for my local butchers rump steak burgers,however,not a bad effort,that musical interlude reminded me that I have some hamlet cigars,so I’m looking forward to getting involved 😂👍
Nice looking burgers 🍔 papps will look out for these it's always handy to have some decent burgers in the freezer. And yes red sauce is a must on your burgers along with the other additions you mentioned and yes be brilliant on a BBQ. Ludders and Wolfie have a chill out moment to Bach 👍👍🍔🍅🎹🎹

8 out of 10 for a frozen Burgeroni, not bad. James Martin telly chef says you only need quality beef mince and seasoning for a good burger.

Had these once before they were ok, not the best. Have you tried the frozen Morrisons The Best Scotch Beef Quarter pounders? They are my favourite for frozen burgers at the min. £3.95 for 4.

After cooking I'd say you've got 2 mouthfuls per burger. It might be 99% beef but beef isn't mined gold. 4 processed, frozen burgers are not worth 5 whole pounds. That cute kitty at the end though.

Ah!... Now that brings back some very fond memories Papp... The advertisement music for Hamlet Cigars... Classical music in adverts... Were probably the first exposure that most people will have ever had... Unless they were raised in a more affluent household that is... Or if they're on hold during a phone call to a Government Agency... Where most people will have heard Vivaldi's Four Seasons playing in the background... Now i don't really buy Beef Burgers anymore Papp... But the next time i make an online shopping order from Iceland... I might just grab myself a box of these Big Tasty Burgers... They're all the money at £5.00... But they didn't look dry... They looked quite succulent to me my friend... Many thanks for the review Papp... It's very much appreciated... All the very best...
